In early March 2024, I hiked to the top of the Oklahoma State High Point, which is Black Mesa. At 4,954 feet you probably won't get any altitude sickness but depending on when you do it, it could be a challenging hike still due to other factors. Please join me as I hike up Black Mesa and clue you in on the unique history and geology of this beautiful place.
