Maybe put your bathroom a little further from the river, perhaps in the wooded area. Where it is waste may end up in the river the next heavy rain or if the river rises... have a great trip and travel safe...

Great video :) thanks guys :) im a new subscriber to your channel :) ive lived in the Launceston area of Tasmania since 2013, previously from the western suburbs of Melbourne. We have never been to the West Coast of tas yet, but we are going to the east coast for new years eve for a couple nights, so that will be nice :)

Love your vlog Guys ..... I see you have a white LED strip light under the canopies, a yellow LED strip light will attract less bugs at night by the way, might be worthwhile fitting one before you come up to Queensland and the Tropic. Safe travels ......

Solo Vagant it’s actually an RGB led strip this way I can change it to any colour, we usually put it to red if there is a lot of insects

Pity about the weather while on the cruise, when it's calm the Gordon river is like a mirror, would've made for some of the best footage of the whole trip

4x4 Junkie mate I believe that it does have a tiny leak but I think the noise you might hear is the snorkel vibrating... my install was a bit dodgy I forgot to put down tape on a certain point so it vibrates so badly

@@OverlandTravellers yeh snorkel vibration isnt much to worry about but the gasket leaking between exhaust and head is a cheap and easy fix, its like a $20 gasket and abit of time, or 20 bucks + 1hr mechanic labour. it will run better too
