It's not really possible for me to say out loud, " Things are exactly as they should be" when we have to face another lockdown. How can we go with the flow when we don't know where the world is going? However, I'm right on my schedule.

Jane Doe, how about if you approached it from, what did I learn to make this lockdown better, or what do I still need to learn? How can I stay positive during lockdown? Know that there will be an end may make it easier and having something to work on during the time will help.

I like the idea of reframing our unconscious thoughts that cause us negatively. I think 'things are where it should be' works for me for frustrations but how can the 'im right on schedule' thinking work when there is a deadline with literally not enough time but a lot of workload? I'm in that situation a lot with my job and would like to be 'whelmed' instead...😉 I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Thank you for all the videos you've made by the way!!

Elizabeth Milan, it could be that there needs to be a change to the work. I am not sure of the specifics so it is difficult to answer.

@@LiveOnPurposeTV thank you for such a quick reply. The situation is that there is a deadline with short amount of time left to finish/meet the goal/requirements. I get overwhelmed somewhat easily at work... But yeah, maybe it's the work that needs to change in some situations.

Dr. Paul you are doing a wonderful job. Your videos are quite helpful. I have a question. My husband spends a few hours with his friends 3-4 times a week. I fight and he reduces his trips. He is a very good husband, I don't want to control him. I am afraid that if I won't stop him then he would increase his trips and start ignoring me. Please tell me is it okay if he meets his friends even daily and I will not be ignored? Men are way more different than women, so I think you could answer it better. Thank you!

Rimshah Saleem, if you felt a connection to him, would it matter if he met his friends any day? Isn't it that you want attention from your husband? If he could do that and see his friends would it be o.k.? Time to have a heart to heart talk with him.

Gayle Faigen, no, we relieve the stress so that we can think of things to do. When we are in frustration, our brains are not into problem solving. We have to get into that mode. Hope that helps.
