So my teenage daughter is sat there explaining to me how unbearable her psoriasis is and this pops up! Thank you Nadine!🙏🏻

My skin has never looked worse from the stress of Covid, lockdowns and continued mask wearing. Perhaps sounds a bit ridiculous, but it does knock your confidence if you have eczema flare ups, especially in visible places. I've now stripped my routine back entirely, and i've been trying to just use products to gently promote barrier function. I will have a good look at the Bioderma range. 😊

You dont sound ridiculous at all. Everybody looks at the face first. Its perfectly natural to feel selfconcious in those circumstances.

Nadine I like the fact that you study the product you are talking about . In many stores even big ones ..people who work in beauty sections dont know nothing about what they are selling ! no idea what most products are for or what is suitable for some skins ! you do the job instead . I trust your reviews and makes it easier for me to go to the store and pick what i want without asking for an advice or help ! please need your review on NARS foundations ..not only as in texture wise and coverage but how to use and apply them as some needs to be applied with damp or dry beauty blender or brush ..some last longer on primer while some not ... some NARS foundations makes skin pores look worse and so on please and of course how to get the right shade your self . Many Thanks

Thank you for this very helpful video, Nadine.❤️ I've been searching for a good spray moisturizer for my 80-year-old mom, that she could use on her back. I've tried one from Neutrogena, but the spray mechanism is so hard to push down, that she cannot use it by herself, which was the whole point of buying a spray. I'm going to buy the Bioderma SOS spray for her now, hopefully, this spray knob will be easier to use. I have no idea why there aren't more spray lotions on the market, except for sunscreen. They make life so much easier for old and/or impaired people.

They really are so much easier. Just remind her to pop a towel down if she’s spraying in the bathroom so she doesn’t slip. ❤️ Emollin spray is great for very dry skin!

Love Atoderma cleansing oil. The only cleanser for me! Using oil on my body when I get out of the shower, before I am dry, and that combo seems to preserve my moisture. I use the anti itch spray around my eyes as I have ocular dermatitis caused by an allergy to medication that I must take. Starting to explore antihistamines to resolve the itching, hoping that may work.

I bypassed this when it first came out asI don’t suffer with dry skin. Roll on a few weeks and I currently have COVID, came out in an itchy rash and my skin is really dry…thank goodness for Nadine. I remembered this video so came back to watch it 👍

I have been a holistic master esthetician for almost 40 years and one little hint that has helped my clients for years is Monistat 7. In the US it is a yeast infection cream. We have natural fungus and bacteria, good and bad always on our skin and it is when we leave an opening for it to essentially activate that we have an issue. This can be by using bad products, bad sunscreen or in many cases foundations and concealers. This little trick of applying it to the skin AM & PM had saved thousands of my clients thorough the years. Just some extra skin love. 🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa

In the anti-itch spray, what ingredient(s) would you say are primarily responsible for making the itch stop? I’m trying to determine what might make it distinct from other similar products in the marketplace. Thank you

I love the Atoderm balm for hands/arms/body. It’s so moisturizing. The Flexitol range is great. It’s a weekend spa session for me to soak my feet in a Lavender or Eucalyptus scented Epsom salt footbath then apply the Flexitol and cotton socks. A lovely soft feet result 💕

My now teenage daughter has had excema since she was a toddler. At one point, when she was 2, 75% of her body was bloody, flaking patches. Aveno makes a night time excema lotion ( red stripe bottle if I remember correctly) that had topical antihistamines and some mild analgesic and it was the most miraculous find ever. It finally let her stop scratching and heal. It became a regular step in her day for years.

Nadine you did a video of the Bioderma Aroderm range last year. I have been using it ever since that video and it is fantastic!!! I even have my husband using it now who was a bar soap lover for years! I use the Cleansing Oil for showering, shaving and yes, face cleansing... I LOVE it!! The Balm is fantastic as well! Living here in Brisbane Australia we suffer hot, humid and incredibly high burn time in the Sun so we need these products to calm and sooth the skin! I have not seen the SOS Spray here yet but will hunt it down👍👍 Thanks to you my skin is now feeling amazing! All the very best to you from Brisbane Down Under🦘🌞

Can you try Azelaic or mandelic acid?
@lorainemcgillivray77
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Azelaic acid works so much faster for me on a pimple/spot/breakout (whatever you want to call it lol) than BHA. I use a 15% azelaic acid on prescription from my Doctor for rosacea, but when I did have a large pimple it halved in size overnight using it. I have heard others say it also works much better for them. For me BHA is quite tricky to use and I can't use a 2%. I can use a 1% once or twice a week, or a 0.5% in a moisturiser form. I am super sensitive though, due to both rosacea and eczema. Azelaic acid has been game changing for me and keeps my skin really clear. I do also use a retinoid (retinaldehyde) and the combination of the two has improved my skin texture so much. I also struggle with AHAs, but I can use the 5% mandelic acid toner from by wishtrend a few times a week if I have a bit more texture than normal. I had a LOT of texture on my nose from the rosacea and it looks normal now, using the azelaic acid and retinoid on alternate nights. I hope that helps.
