Just flip the board and feed the uncut end through. Raise the blade so it cuts down on the table instead of pushing it at you. Low blades make the lumber lift away from from the table and causes kickback. And hold the lumber tight like you hold your morning wood.

I've tried that but what I find is the tension in the wood will make it twist. I found stopping the blade and lifting it out, then passing it through again cutting more of the waste piece, I find I get a better result.

I’m just trying to understand what is wood pinching as mine is also stopping in the middle and some said it might be due to pinching.

Ok so some wood has a lot of tension in it due to the drying process. When you rip cut the wood that tension can be released. It can spread outward leaving a bow in one of the pieces. Or it can move inward and cause pinching. If it pinches too much and you force through it can cause your blade to throw the piece back at you or it can force your blade to stop. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have a follow-up and I'll be sure to answer it.

@@RobertsInnovations yes. It’s just stopping in the middle when I tried in both ways. I will try another piece of wood and it may be better.

Turn off your saw pull the piece out and try cutting again. You may have to do it a few times. If you are cutting plywood and that's happening you may have a motor going bad. Plywood doesn't have any tension in it
