in past years when I had photographic crises I sold the equipment and bought new equipment. A sort of oblivion that was repeated over the years. Now I have discovered a relaxing way to overcome photographic crises, I print my photos, a simple A4 four-color printer and matte satin paper. "Print therapy." Congratulations for the channel, ciao.

This is so good. I want to start printing my photos more. It does give a sense of meaning to the entire process. I printed a couple of them in the past, and I absolutely loved them. So, yeah! What you are doing is what we should all be doing I think!

Really good tips Aris. I'm currently not in a mental block and I have bought an 85mmf1.8 lens to add to the creativity. Some other tips I can add here are 1.) Look up ! if you photograph urban surroundings, look up and photograph the higher stories of buildings - you'll be surprised how much amazing stuff is there that you don't see at eye level. 2.) Get down ! go down to the view of a two year old and see the world from their angle - and you'll see old boring stuff looking like new creative stuff.i.e. a car wheel 3) Use your cameras special creative modes. These modes will add a whole new angle to a boring subject.4) Wait ! - If you wait in one spot sometimes for a few minutes the light is just bang on and it looks just sublime on a boring subject for a few seconds. i.e. when the sun comes out from the clouds.

What a fantastic video - how many times have I gone out for the day and not taken a single shot because "the light wasn't right" "There was nothing worth photographing" "I didn't have enough time" and so on. My recent fix to the problem has been to start shooting with old film cameras after a 20 or so year break from film - not only is it exciting and fun, but probably more important is that I'm just taking photographs, I don't have that mindset of "I must only take brilliant photos and nothing else" which had been restricting me in the past.

Thanks so much Tim! I do se your point. I was just today thinking that I have produced better shots when I am at a disadvantage than when everything is in my favor. A bit of challenge can get a long way I think. Just take photos! I love that. Easy and simple. Thanks for checking out the video!!

When in doubt, try to remember what you liked/did in the beginning. That's my 5 cents! Thanks for watching Jeff!
