My mom sent me this video because I've been struggling mentally with having a fupa lately. I'm a size 14 but really don't look it and I'm only 5'3. I got fupa having two kids but this video has given me ideas and makes me feel better.

Sameee. I was heavier before(238) got down to 220 and I lost more weight and I’m now 210! Shockingly the key is eating More nutritious foods and burning at minimum a quarter of that. So for example eating the calories according to the goal weight you want. My goal is 200 lbs. My total calories is 200 x 12 = 2400 and I strategically make sure that my protein intake is 200 x .6 = 120 grams. I burn anywhere between 670 calories(only my walking days) to 1000 Cal (full body intense workout and swim with walking) so yeah definitely keep finding wat works and try it out! I’m the same height & 27y/o btw. Good luck! 🥰🫂🙆🏽♀️

The mind is such a powerful thing. I have some progress to make but I'm definitely more confident now than I was back then. Thank you Beautiful Nita for having a channel for us Plus size ladies. By, the way I'm new to your channel and it's a God's sent that I found this channel. This tutorial is a big blessing for me. Before my car accident I was in sizes 10 and 12 Misses Petite (I'm only 5'4). But, when I had my car accident I went from 135 lbs to 233 lbs in weight. At one point I weighed 305 lbs (my highest weight) that was because I was Paralyzed on my right side because I had Stroke from the accident. Medicine and not being mobile due to the Stroke I gained weight. I am mobile now and I use a Walker with the seat/basket and sometimes a 4-leg Cane. My health has improved (thank the Lord Jesus for that) and I want to dress more fashionable and more feminine. So, I try to wear more flattering clothes that makes me look fabulous. My hubby says that I'm both beautiful and smart at the same time. Anyway, thanks for sharing and you have a blessed and wonderful day. Bye!!! 👗👒👚🩱👜👡🛍️🙏✝️🙏

A lady would never wear anything so tight it would show FUPA. Class & style do not show everything. Looking much slimmer vs like you have stuffed yourself in something 3 sizes to small. I am so happy to used this conversation. It saddens me women feel the pressure to be so revealing and in the process losing the true focus of their beauty. A wonderful example to our children & young adults. Some things you keep private & only for a special someone.thank you

I have to be careful with any type of empire waist, because if the dress is something like a babydoll you run the risk of looking pregnant. I had on a Taylor blue and white polka dot babydoll dress, and someone asked me if I was pregnant and I never wore it again. I have found though that with the A-line dresses and a larger tummy, you can pair them with a thick belt that helps to cinch you even more. And the belt will have to go directly under the bustline as Nita mentioned it's the smallest part of your waist.

OMG! Please make more videos concerning dressing and building confidence 🙏 🙌 🤩 first off I am fighting breast cancer and got a mastectomy and I am a local Club singer. So due to these reasons I have to dress professional and sexy. Now that I have only one breast and I have to dress sexy for my shows in order to keep them I experience high stress leading up to my gigs because I do not know what to wear. I have tried to copy off of other singers and what they wore but it just does not look right on me and I have a very round belly and people come up to me during my gigs and ask me am I pregnant on a regular and it is so embarrassing. The choices that you listed for clothing I am definitely going to try because I want to look more polished my mother recently told me that it is her fault that I do not know how to dress because she never allowed me to go to the store with her she never allowed me to do anything she did not teach me how to shop or how to build my image. But I decided to work on this and here your video came across my feed that is nothing but God. God bless you and thank you

Thanks for making this video. I often feel like the advice I get to dress for an hourglass contradicts the advice I get to dress for a fupa.

thank you so much for this video! i’m not plus sized but i do have a higher waist due of a fuller midsection, and most straight size clothing expect the waist to be lower than what I have. this really helped me gain confidence and find clothes that will look good on my figure

This video is sooooo helpful. I am not plus size, but my weight fluctuates A LOT. I'm talking a size 6 dress one week and a 10 a few weeks later. I'm not over exaggerating. All of that weight goes to my stomach first, butt next, and MIGHT make it to my boobs. But it for sure isn't flowing to any other part of my body. Lol. So my stomach has always been an insecurity. My shoulders, chest and legs say skinny, while my stomach tells a different story. Lol. It's hard out here.

You didn’t ask, and you may already know this already, but... I was so confused when this happened to me, but I went to an acupuncturist yesterday (about this issue and others) and they mentioned that gut health, stress, and hormone imbalance may contribute to weight fluctuations. Maybe see if you can find a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner that can holistically assess and address the fluctuations.
