The Irish Bodhrán is sometimes described as the heartbeat of Irish music, and whilst we know the tradition was born on this Island, remarkably little is known about how this vibrant tradition came to be. In this second part of my documentary series, I hope to separate the facts from the folklore, and extract the truth from the mysterious tales of the drums origins, which track the very history of Ireland.
