Ableton is so overrated and expensive. Reaper has fully functional free trial for 60 days. After that it costs only 60$ and comes with ton of effects included, no limitations whatsoever plus you can use as many tabs as you need. So you can keep each song in it's own project file and when Sunday comes just open all necessary songs- each in their own tab and navigate through the tabs smoothly through out the set. No need to assemble some specific project file for each Sunday. Swapping out songs or changing order is as easy as opening/closing or moving the open tabs. Reaper is very light and efficient on the hardware and there is a ton of tutorials and very helpful community. And no, I'm not their salesperson :D When our sound engineer suggested Reaper I was sceptical and asked him if it's so good why the industry is using Ableton instead. He said one word: Marketing. After I have built more than 60 backing tracks, mixed more than 20 song recordings and used it weekly for live performance for more than a year now I still cannot see a single reason how Ableton would be better.
