My 11 hens love vinegar water too. I have 6 hens that are 16 weeks old yesterday. I got an egg yesterday and another one today. It's my tradition to feed them their first egg scrambled. I add garlic powder after it's cooked and it's gone in seconds. My other set of 5 hens are 3 years old. They lay year round. All 11 are spoiled. I love them like you guys love yours. Mine have names too.

Also, I use the D-dirt, as we call it, in their food. In their bedding. In their nesting boxes. And in my flower bed they decided to use as their dust bath area. Great fine dusty dirt. And I could watch them bathe for bours!! Fun!

We've learned so much about their health. With all the problems the last year and so many culled birds we want to do all we can to help them survive too. I must admit... My new hobby that fascinates me the most is the honey bees. By next year i hope to add 2 or 3 more colonies to the one we have now.
