If I wasn't barely keeping fuel in my car and food on the table for my kids, I would definitely choose to become a patron. I would budget so I could contribute to your beautiful family and y'all can continue sharing your experiences while living your/my dream. In two years when my son goes off to college I would give anything to sail with your family even for just an hour or so, maybe attempt to spear a fish for dinner. I love 💕 you guys

I loved this video, I just can't help but mention something about organic food. I learned that just because it says it's organic doesn't mean there aren't pesticides and chemicals on them. It just means that those chemicals weren't put in the dirt before things were planted (and soaked up inside the plant). But it was sprayed on top instead. I may be wrong, but I heard this from a farmer here in the states. So always be sure to clean produce thoroughly with something that will cut through oily substances (because the chemicals are oil based to stick to the plants through rain storms). Anyway, I couldn't not tell yall that. Much love!
@juless9277
2 жыл бұрын
That is not quite correct... The USDA organic certification allows for different herbicides and pesticides to be used, and there are oil- and water-based kinds. And depending on the type, they can be applied to the soil before planting, preemergence, to the crops after they're growing, or right before harvest, it just totally depends. There is likely still residue on produce by the time it reaches you though, whether it was from an oil- or water-based application, so I do agree that washing produce is important to remove any residues.

I suspect you may want to refrigerate those eggs, as a lot of eggs in the Bahamas come from the USA. They wash their eggs in the US, which means it destroys the protective membrane that keeps eggs fresh and free from bugs getting through the shell. So you have to refrigerate eggs from the USA.

@@SailingLaVagabonde yes, it is a treasure. And celebrities like Leonardo DiCapprio are involved. But the world has NO power over governments. They also are devastating fragile rainforests in Ecuador and Bora Bora for aluminum. And oil. But this will end soon, but not by men. Keep being conscious of what you can do.
