First of all, Janelle is an absolute natural as a KZitemr. You guys are awesome together. If she ever starts her own channel I will sub immediately. Second, I love your adventure videos, but have to say, you are just killing it with these can build 2.0 videos. I first found your channel 2 or 3 years ago due to the original van build. A family member is thinking of trying van life and I have told her these videos are required viewing. I’m really enjoying seeing this build. Third and finally, thanks for sharing this and your other videos. Really enjoy the journey you’ve been on and how far you’ve come. Inspiring.

Glad to see you using Por 15.... I used to own a body shop and I specialized in custom panel replacement for vintage cars where panels were either unavailable or of limited quantity. I can’t tell you how many cars have been brought to me where people used every cheap option they could find for rust repair or pay someone to cheaply do shotty jobs, and then we always ended up having to redo it. Por 15 is a phenomenal product I’ve been using for many years, excited for he reveal!!

the plasti dip probably won't stick to the dried POR15 on the seat bases. Por15 won't even stick to itself if the underlying coat is dry unless the unerlying layer is scuffed. POR15 works best in several coats, with each subsequent coat applied when the underlying coat has a hint of tackiness. They make top coats designed to work with the POR15. I use different colors of POR15 between coats to be sure to get full coverage. The POR15 tech line is a good bet for little details on how to get the best results. As you mentioned, it's all in the prep. Good luck with the build. I really like to production quality of your videos.

I don’t want to come off as a sexist or feminist here - but from a woman’s point of view Janell (spelling ? ) on these videos is a game changer. I am not sure why - because I do enjoy your solo efforts Levi ... she just makes it so real.

Nothing sexist there. How many Local News shows just have one man reading the news? Having a co-presenter makes things more interesting, having more diversity (either in gender, race, view point, or all of the above) increases your potential audience. At the very least it allows more of the potential audience to identify with one member of the presentation team.

Great call with the Plasti dip, POR15 is UV sensitive, it is great for undercarriage parts and floorpans that don't see sunlight. Overtime the parts painted with POR15 that get direct sunlight will peel off. When applying a topcoat to POR15 it works best to do it while the paint is tacky to the touch. Lastly wear clothes you don't mind tossing out and NEVER Spray paint POR15. It is activated by moisture. If you get it on your skin it doesn't come off until your skin wears off. If the paint is inhaled it will stick to your lungs and never unstick. Great job, looking forward to the next installment. Life is better when you make stuff!

Quick tip for drilling through metal - and this is a general gamechanger, no reflection on what J'n'L are doing, promise. To preserve your drill bits and keep safe and efficient; drill SLOW. Lots of pressure, but as slow as poss., seriously. Too fast (and most people equate chuck speed with work speed) and all you do is burn and soften your drill bits so they won't take an edge again. Drop of lube, nice bit of pressure, and slow as - try it. 'Course, having the drill bit sharp first is the thing ;-))

I used POR15 about 12-13 years ago on a frame of a Jeep I had that had some rust that would have become severe rust if I hadn’t done anything about it. What I got was a system from POR15, it was 3 separate products that you put on in a series, was a lot of work underneath the Jeep, but it worked amazingly. I sold the Jeep to a guy I knew and he used it for driving on the beach (salt water), he drove it for two years and when it finally died, it was the motor, not the frame, the frame was still as good as when I did the treatment. Good stuff
