I agree, I feel as though it’s good to be inspired by certain aspects of what people show… yet we should only look up to Jesus or God. Mainly because even a pastor is a man of this world, even he isn’t above temptations or can be used by the devil if he were weak in the spirit. I was raised in the church as a pk and I saw how certain pastors would manipulate the word of God to fit their personal agendas. It reminds me of the Pharisee’s, they were respected members of the church… yet you would’ve thought that they would’ve been the ones to respect/follow Jesus… instead they moved and judged as if they were the highest authority Jehovah himself.

As a white Christian woman, reparations are so unbiblical to me. Where is the forgiveness? When is the point that the black culture can let go of these sins against their ancestors? Every race have enslaved other people in the history of the world. White people have enslaved white people. Black people have enslaved black people. White people in the US can bring receipts of terrible things that have happened to their ancestors as well. Why are financial reparations the answer? Money can't heal those emotional wounds. Christ has reconciled all of us to each other. There was no dividing wall of hostility between Jew and Greek because of Christ, so why not white Americans and black Americans? Financial reparations may look like a a huge gesture of repentance to the black culture. Maybe that's why they want it so badly, but it just looks like greed. It comes a cross ad greed.

In the Hebrew Bible, the prophet Daniel has several visions, including one described in Daniel 8. In this vision, Daniel sees a ram and a he-goat, which scholars interpret as representing the kings of Persia and Greece. The goat's first broken horn is thought to represent Alexander the Great, and the four horns that grow in after that represent the four generals who divided his empire. The goat's refusal to touch the ground while attacking the ram may also symbolize the speed of Alexander's conquests.

@@U_neekliss I think it matters because of the emphasis out on the point. There are places all over the country that never sold slaves on "FM" roads just out of sheer probability. I'm not saying it is embellishment because that would also be dangerous to diminish the nature of the topic.

@@U_neekliss I say beyond reasoning is because we live in a fallen world since the beginning of time. There have been injustices since the beginning and the world will never "be fair" compensating people for the past injustices would open Pandora's box to so many other things. A) the animosity would only grow b) do we now seek retribution from the families in Africa that were complicit out of greed c) do the injustices to the Native Americans then come after everyone. The reality is man has always been this way. And retribution never works out well. Here's an example. After world war 1 there were extremely harsh penalties laid upon Germany. Those penalties led to poverty and citizens that wanted a way out of that situation and they got frustrated and angry and turned to a horrible person named Hitler. I would inject patience and respect. If we, as a nation, can embrace these two elements then they can help not just open the door to a discussion but ultimately lead to a room of understanding, compassion and even solidarity.

You should probably watch the documentary on him and all the testimony from the men, women and children who lived with him as his slaves and disciples.....there is video footage of his atrocities, he was an evil, wolf in sheeps clothing, practicing Voodoo witchcraft to gain power over these ppl. He raped the virgins, mind controlled them, had fake signs and wonders, abused in every way possible each of them, forced abortions on the women he got pregnant, beat them mercilessly, enjoyed humiliating them he would laugh while he did so, he murdered..........don't be fooled like all the others, be open minded to listening to their stories, unless you lived with him he only appeared amazing to the outside.

pretty much every big actor has done a dress 'bit' - it's a comedy routine. name a white actor they did it. they were in old bad movies/tv shows, but they were. I don't find it funny, but some people do. like being 'gangster' or 'ghetto' or flamboyantly 'gay' - it's a caricature of something. I don't find it funny, but some people do. everyone acting like katt is 100% truth, ignoring the FACT that to every story there are 3 side, side A, side B, and the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. katt is salty for not getting as big as others, katt did see some shady stuff, but the truth is not always as simple as people want to believe. he isn't some perfect prophet - he got his own light skinned women in his past but somehow people think he's squeaky clean

I don't believe any of his opinions or solutions are represented in scripture at all. I will not be following along with secular culture's beliefs of how we should handle racism. They have no answers.

I had went to a church with a mixed congregation but still mostly white. Whit guy wanted to ask me how he could make things right from a godly perspective as far as people in the inner cities. I told him my thoughts but then ended with I find grow up in the inner city or know anything about the hood in general. He continued to talk to me like I was from the streets. That’s how out of touch yal are. You don’t know how to listen to black folk from a secular or godly perspective. Yal just don’t listen period
