Do you need to know the facts about buying a home for nightly rental in Branson MO or Table Rock Lake? Recent changes took place for single family R-1 homes being restricted for nightly rental use earlier this summer. What does this mean for you if you're looking for a nightly rental investment? Find out the differences in Stone and Taney County- How do they enforce this, and what are the differences between the two counties regarding nightly rental regulations?
Check out what the local news has to say about how many in Taney County are running a nightly rental "illegally" without permits!-

Make sure you get all the facts before you jump into the air-bnb game by getting your questions answered from Planning and Zoning. Stone-417-357-8402 Taney-417-546-7226
Also when you're looking at a house for sale and you're thinking this would make a great vacation home- Find out first if there are covenants and restrictions. All of the covenants and restrictions are different for each neighborhood, and a lot of them say "no commercial use allowed" which means the board of aldermen will likely say no to your CUP "conditional use permit" if there's anything in the covenants and restrictions regarding short term rentals or commercial use. These are easy to get if you know the subdivision name. You can call a title company or the county assessor's office to get a copy.
Here's a link to the Taney County Map that I used in this video-
