Each year, The World Economic Forum publishes it’s global outlook for risk. It has published 18 editions to date, with the first published back in 2006. It offers us a snapshot of what’s on the minds of those in business, government, academia, the international community and civil society as they consider which risks will shape our world in the years to come. So what picture do these perceived risks paint of the present, and what outlook do they offer of the future? It’s important to note, it’s not a prediction. It’s simply presenting one outlook for the short and longer term future, and in doing so, it aims to influence the agenda and set people’s expectations. Use it as you see fit, as a point of reference, or perhaps as a primer for your own conversations on preparing for the decade ahead. 🤞I'm experimenting with a new format, new graphics and music that's written for each episode. I'm essentially having a little extra fun, and perhaps someone out there might appreciate it! Thanks for watching. 😊
