I've found there's a quite a difference in A1 sauce depending where you buy it. Dollar store, particularly Dollar Tree, purchased A1 sauce has much more high fructose corn syrup than supermarket purchased A1 sauce. Consequently, the low price at a dollar store isn't that much of a bargain. Best to source it from a supermarket and read the ingredient list on the label.

The free bottle is still in the cupboard. The other was put in the garbage when it was 7/8 full. The date code on both bottles were current at the time. Kraft needs to wake up. Thanks for the video. I was exact same way! I wasted half my life eating steak the wrong way because when we were kids my mom would cook the shit out of everything and tell us that was to get rid of all the germs. We grew up thinking everything needed to be practically burnt to be safe to eat and those who chose rare or medium-rare were taking one hell of a gamble! To compensate for all this loss of flavour (which we did not understand we were the cause of), we became experts on different sauces as we’d slather it on any meat my mom would cook. Back then, A1 was my absolute preferred choice and I’d just saturate my steak with it. Hell, I can even remember resorting to just using ketchup if we ran out of sauce just for any semblance of flavor, lol! So much wasted streaks and other meats…SMH I can’t believe it took me so long but it wasn’t until I met my future (Italian!) wife who refused to let me continue to eat like that and taught (forced?!) me how to properly order/prepare/eat steak, and so many other foods! We’re divorced now but no matter what I’ll forever be grateful to her for that, lol!
