Great advice. Once you destroy the nerves in your finger tips and the callus forms it makes it so much easier. Whenever I want to remind myself how far I’ve come, I play left handed and quickly realise how hard it can be to hold more than 2 strings with soft finger tips. I’d say it’s where most fail, not playing though the pain and giving up too soon. I think trying to play oasis songs with the b and e held down is very hard for a beginner, but certainly helps get the fingers a little more numb 👍

It's great that u mentioned other strum patterns I been playing over 20yr but I'm self taught and long before stuff like this books was what I had too use lol but I find I still play some of the strum patterns diff it's not about making it sound exactly same as original for me I like too try play the SalientG version lol these are just brilliant these vids

Fantastic tutorial, as always. I really loved the new thing you do of you playing in the background and your voiceover at the start and end.... However.... I tried playing along to the recording and then got stuck at the "here in my mind...."part! Had to look at another tutorial.

B7 / G / B7 / G / B7 / G / B7 / F# / E / G,A,E / G A,E / G,A,E / E / E / ... You can swap out the B7 for a B it it's easier (also it sounds better if you're playing the song just on acoustic guitar).

Brilliant. Thanks for this. Could you do Talk Tonight by Oasis? Uses similar chords but there is a little tricky bit during middle of chorus where you need a little hammer on the little finger. See what you think :) keep doing what your doing 👍🏻

If guitar was tuned down 1/2 step this would also help with less pain on finger tips as strings are not as tight as standard tuning. ☮️

Man, learning a song is ridiculously hard. I can barely understand when to switch chords, and even then when I do I can't figure out how long I have to strum on that chord and what pattern. Can't even find anyone talking about this, maybe I'm just a smooth brain idk.
