Grandpa used to grow Turkey red which was extremely red. His best crop with it was 20 bushels an acre. Fast forward 2 generations my family farm is pushing 60-70 bushel wheat. Population growing and land shrinking we need more and better producing wheat.

We just don't understand why there is this war against human nutrition from other humans. Why take away the value of the food?

Looking at this kind of disaster, sometimes I feel like growing my own food! :-/ huh! Whats the point of years of education if in the end you have to worry about the bread you just won is not worth of eating!

I still don't understand. I wish there was an explanation of the difference between wheat, whole-wheat, multigrain, and 12 grain. It's really hard to understand even what Grain is because I grew up in a city. So all I think about is dough and putting it in the oven. It's hard to really conceptualize the seeds and these differences. I also have no idea which bread is better for me, although I know I need to stay away from white bread

It is simple actually. Remember when people told you not to peel the skin off an apple? The shell of most vegi/fruits contain the actual vitamins protecting the sweet tasty insides. Just like white rice is brown rice with the shell removed and removed vitamins. After you remove the "shell" of wheat all that is left is the fast dissolving carbs which is basically like eating sugar.

This video was more like a propaganda demonizing white flour as the spawn of Satan nd making it seem like wheat flour is the God-sent-Saradomin-must-be-worshipped-will-cure-cancer flour. It's actually kind of annoying.

@@dnnnforfordnnn7838 actually refined white wheat is worse for you than you think. Eating a lot processed stripped wheat triggers inflammation in your body. What is inflammation? The root cause of 90% of every health problem you can imagine, from diabetes, heart failure, Cancer, illness, etc... And whats worse? Back in the day something called the food pyramid, was released that told everyone that the largest part of your diet should include this.

Debates aside, i would recommend to eat whole grains (wheat, rye, etc) from organic agriculture and made with long fermentation (sourdough). Sorry for my english. Greetings
