This guy keeps calling the rim width it's diameter. I quit watching after he did it several times....

Yeah, sorry about that. I misspoke and didn't catch it in post. I'll fire my producer + director. 😊

Hey I got a question about a 65 Mustang what's the biggest wheel you can fit on one without using low profile tires or rolling fenders or tubing and will the one each shelby drop affect the size of the wheel I can put on what I've seen that will fit are 17's x8 in the back x7 in the front but I was wondering 18's x10 an x9 I've seen you got an early Mustang maybe you dealt with my question yourself

When changing to larger rims on an old muscle car stance is everything. Each car demands a unique set up. What works on a 1970 Chevelle may not work on a Camaro or GTO. Research before you buy.

Thanks. I have owned muscle cars since 1976. Always stayed old school 15 inch for 35 years and finally decided to modernize much of my car in 2012. For me I got one shot to get the rims and stance right. I did get help from a SEMA builder on choosing what to buy..

@@ClassicNation well it's a mechanically sorted 351c 4 speed but it has had its interior stripped and caged for track work so replacing the interior is going to take a while! Then some American racing vn427 for the wheels it's just finding which ones will best fit so this and your other videos on your own fastback is incredibly good timing!

Did you find out what size wheels to use yet? I have a 67 fb and looking into the vn427 as well. I got a part number from american racing for 17x8 and zero offset. I wonder if they will work on my car. Also, i wanted a little bigger on the back like 17x9.5 but i don’t know if i will have clearance issues. Any assistance would be appreciated.
