The saying goes, if something isn’t trying to eat your garden, you are not part of the ecosystem. That’s an important principle to remember as organic gardeners. We are both treating a natural habitat with our plantings, and also trying to cultivate natural controls and predators to manage lurking pests. Many times gardeners react to quickly when they see a pest of any kind or any kind of abnormality in their plants, when variances are just normal and bugs are part of life.
