@@michelemoneywell8765 It's just a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise. And it goes really well with fries. Some people in Utah like to make a big hurrah over it by having their own take on it. Adding spices, pickle juice, or bbq sauce. Other places have their own house special steak sauces or BBQ.

I'm a born and raised Utahn stuck in SoCal for the last year, with 2 years still to go. The amount of stupidity is so enormous that I'm afraid it'll kill me faster than COVID. I live on the coast, but the electronic freeway signs say there's a severe drought and to conserve water. The Weather Channel app gives me a daily reminder that the air quality is horrible. Taxes are high. Gas prices are high ($5/gal). Cost of everything is high due to $15/hour minimum wage. Kids even had an optional school day on Friday where anybody absent would automatically have an excused day, and the schools referred to it as a "mental health day".

My wife and I gave up, my brother and his wife gave up, our friends have given up. I know Californians looking for a house in Utah that are pissed at all the Californians buying up houses with cash or putting a huge amount down. We locals are being pushed out of our own cities into the boondocks to find anything affordable due to Californians FaceTiming their realtors and buying houses while still in California. It’s pretty crushing and makes it hard not to hate Californians outright.

I'm originally from Europe but lived in Utah for 3 years and absolutely loved it there. People were so friendly I even felt sad every time I turned down Mormon missionaries and the Nature and National parks were great. Sadly moved back to Europe to be close to family but I certanly miss Utah and the US. People from Europe think the US is just East Coast or California but I belive real America the so called ''American Dream'' is in the inland states like Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorada, Texas etc... where you don't need to be rich just to have a comfortable life and offers bigger houses, lower taxes, safer environment, more friendly people etc...

@@AUniqueHandleName444 the handcarts, or wheelbarrows as you call them, weren't implemented until later on. Originally, the pioneers moving to utah (including Brigham Young) used covered wagons, but they were changed to handcarts to make the trip more affordable for poor immigrants.

Start your (non)state sponsored education by reading Karl Marx’s 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto (it’s a short read; you can do it buddy!). Then look at California’s laws (or any other leftist state). Let me know if you see any similarities?

Part attention to the end of the credits and you'll see locations given special thanks, such as Ontario, Canada; Atlanta, Georgia; Texas; Utah; Australia; Montana; Washington; British Columbia; and many other places outside of the US, such as the Czech Republic. Due to unions and lack of financial support through state tax breaks via the film commissions, it has become too expensive to make movies and TV shows in California. Btw, the California entertainment industry owes its opportunities for success to a Utahan named Philo Taylor Farnsworth. You might want to look him up.

@@domin8ss yes, but the studio film crews are from Hollywood. The only reason why they film out of state is to make it look more authentic. Most people dont spend half an hour watching the end credits, but yes, I am aware its not always filmed in Hollywood. I am just tired of the other 49 states admitting defeat and blaming california fully for their state having a problem instead of having guts and making their state better.

I traveled 35k miles visitng 40 states over the last 3 years. This is pretty on track for Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Tennessee and Oregon. "My kids are gluten-free and allergic to peanuts so no more cupcakes in class for birthdays" is another one.

I’ll have to look into it. I didn’t vote for anyone this election. I don’t trust the government in general 🤷🏽♂️ that’s the first time I’ve heard about her being anti 1st. I’ve heard about the unlimited immigration. I assumed she meant no one would be denied citizenship as long as they applied. Which either way that has the potential to be extremely dangerous. Of course she has so many promises that she’d need to fulfill I don’t believe she’d make it that far. It could always be turned down by the house and senate and just go with the good things she’s put forward

@@SYDAirlineEnthusiast to answer your question: wife's employer. I didn't leave Utah for Cali. We were first in Virginia. 12 years after leaving Utah we ended up in California. At the time we made the decision to relocate to California it was one of those "your damned if you do and damned if you don't" scenarios. The other option was DC. We'd already spent 12 years east of the Mississippi River. California got us closer to family. 1 more year to go. Utah isn't my preferred choice for retirement either. There's too much California in it already. St George and Salt Lake City have been ruined.

In the past 40 years 20 million people from all over the country and world have moved here. Native Californians are not the majority.
