@@saulgster What is sad about it? I have to assume, based solely on your comment here, that you are not a mother yourself. Is that a fair assumption? Do you have friends and/or family members with small children? If so, I encourage you to inquire with those you know who have children, if they see a difference in how their children react to mom leaving vs. dad leaving. As a mother myself, I’m willing to bet, the greatest majority will tell you, that there is in fact a huge difference in how the children react to mom leaving vs. dad. It is 100% natural and normal, and is no way a reflection on this mother’s ability to parent her children. P.S. Whether you’re a parent or you’re not, you really should learn to mind your own mother/parenthood, and not pass judgment on other parents. Parenting is a hard gig, and ain’t none of us got all the answers to parent without mistake. Not even you.

@@deadsetanime7102 First of all, I hope you guys figure out a way to navigate coparenting , while allowing your children the love of both parents; allowing them to love both parents however much they wish, without the need for jealousy. Second, yes it was a big joke. Although they do tend to love on moms the most. While I do get jealous sometimes, I am happy that they have both of us available and I am honored every time they show me that love.
@deadsetanime7102
2 жыл бұрын
@@princepg4 It’s not true that they love mom most. That is an element of time spent. In the beginning they need mom most for nourishment. After they ween, it’s a gamble who they will navigate to. My brother and I leaned heavily towards our father. We were terrified of our mother when we were young; so much so that we would not even talk to her. My dad was more disciplinary than my mother but the major difference between the two was that my father didn’t lash out or yell and scream. It was the same for my oldest sister. She preferred dad over mom for the same reason and we still talk about it today. This aspect of parenting goes unspoken but it’s part of the national statistics of parenting in Europe and the United States. Mothers are more likely to be abusive to children than fathers are. In some studies they are 2x more likely to abuse. This idea that children prefer mothers has been false for a very long time. In my ex-wife’s case, she milked them for sympathy but our daughter does not like her very much. Fathers tend to be much milder and far more peaceful around children often lacking the whirlwind of emotion that often bring stress to the family environment. Such is why fathers are a stabilizing feature of family.
