Well soon Ghana would supply electricity to nigeria. Most of our food and drink companies are in nigeria. Most plastic and construction companies are in nigeria and not to even talk about gold companies. I think it better to not compare both countries because we ain't close to where we are supposed to be. The main reason why Ghana cannot get some local companies into nigeria is because of the civil unrest, corruption and electrical issues. But there are problems everywhere so who am I to talk

Why don't you just do a Google search and get the facts and explain things in simple terms? This was the situation: There was a period when Ghana had electricity supply problems due to the low water levels at the Akosombo hydro electricity dam. At that time, to alleviate the problem, Ghana acquired an off shore generation barge from Turkey, which needed natural gas to operate. At the time, Ghana needed to import a great portion of the natural gas to operate the barge, from Nigeria. This was at a period before Ghana discovered oil and gas. But today, Ghana does not even need the natural gas from Nigeria. Ghana now has her own natural gas sources.
@rayblackson4413

Yh so Nigeria never supplied Ghana electricity.. Ghana rather bought natural gas from Nigeria to generate electricity 👍
