Today our phones can guide us to almost any place on Earth. But years before Apple and Google became synonymous with mapping there was another device blazing the trail. Featuring dynamic turn-by-turn directions, the Garmin iQue 3600 drew the map that our smartphones follwed by embedding a GPS into a Palm OS PDA. How did it stack up against its GPS and personal digital assistant competitors in 2003? Can I still get accurate directions from a vintage device released two decades ago? And is it possible to bring it up to date with modern maps? Watch to see me put this retro PDA GPS the test on today's streets.
