The only ones who benefit are those who can't stick on a horrible Keto diet. Yes it is but not to his followers of course. I try to cut carbs as much as I can but some of US have taste buds that dislike to a great degree many of the best FOODs. Walk a mile in my mouth. Good advice from Dr Berg who is the best on here but just sayin I sort of hate coming on here for good advice and thinking I can't like his foods and feeling bad that I don't eat well. I do take lots of supplements including Vit D to try to make up for a lousy diet. In fact I take more supplements than foods to those people who wonder into my vitamin stock and refrigerator loaded with every supplement know to many . Don't worry I take most of it not every day. Also if god was less malevolent he would have made my taste buds better suited for the Keto. I wish Berg would talk about the often malevolent god of the good books who just has a stranglehold

Hello Dr. Berg!!! My wife and I have been taking your d3/k2 supplement for one month now, 40,000 iu’s per day. One of the key benefits we saw within 4 days was a much deeper sleep. It’s was astonishing to both of us. Sleep scores went from mid to high 70’s up to solid mid to high 80’s!!! Our energy levels have improved, mood has been much better, hip and back pain has become almost none existent and our skin feels silky smooth now!!! First thing I do every morning is run my fingers together and it just boggles the mind. I suppose we were both very deficient in Vit D and I’ve been telling all my family and friend about your videos and products!! Thank you for sharing you vast knowledge with us. Nutritional yeast can sometimes be tricky----the high Vit B-6 can sometimes cause dreams to be too vivid and interfere with sleep. 2T must be just right for you to sleep well. The 28 g fat is probably also helping to keep your hunger at bay if you are doing intermittent fasting...thus promoting sleep. I would find it very unpalatable to swallow 2 T oil esp right before bed. I take my Vit D3 in the middle of the day with a can of bone-in sardines (in olive oil) and about 2T nutritional yeast sprinkled in lukewarm tea or on various foods throughout the day.

Vitamin D supplements at doses of ~ 5000IU or 125 mcg (microgram) might interfere with melatonin production. Vitamin D is synthesized by body with exposure to sunlight (daytime) - often with the noon time ☀️ - maximal UVB availability. Many recommend supplementation Vitamin D be take with fatty meal in daytime eg at breakfast - as may be more physiological.

Dr. Berg, I have been on Keto/IF for 6 weeks. So far I have lost 18 pounds fat, mostly around tummy area. I am 61 years old woman lived on rice all my life. I woke up in the morning to eat and until 10 at night. I ate every two hours. I thought since the menopause, I was packing fat around my midsection and dealt with aches and pain constantly. Until I started your free program. I don`t have constant throbbing on my hands and wrists, no bloating, burping, acid reflux, I'm off ibuprofen, Tylenol, which I used to take every day. I also noticed swollen lymph nodes almost disappearing, I used to leak urine when I cough, sneeze, run, or even to the point of every time I took steps, that is getting so much better. I a learning so much from your programs. I am very thankful for all the helth benefits I am gaining. And they are free and easy. I thought I just had to accept that I was getting old and had to live with those conditions. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!!

LAX, San Diego, Phoenix .. are the farthest south that I have lived, but never dropped down to Mexico ... then again Hawaii is farther south, but vastly diff ecosystem ... hmmm. sleeps were heavenly in Hawaii. this could equate to why countries near the equator have siestas, but the crazy heat probably doesn’t give anyone a chance to do anything else BUT sleep during the hottest part of the day. we have been promoting sleep whenever, however it works for you since 1946, so embrace when your body is sleepy. take advantage of it. and .. just forget about the clock on the wall. the moon actually regulates more of our rhythms than the sun does, for it is a very regular - gravitational entity. vs the sun. the sun changes every day (ratio length of bright vs dark) during the year. the moon does not. it controls the tides. and mensuration cycles. affects the moods. accidents rise during full moons. but no one pays it much attention, except all the ancient cultures mapped the moon cycles, and made calendars on it. def pay attention to the black moon (best time for extra fasting BTW), we have done many studies on this the past bunch of years. and the full moon. throughout the year .. and you will have much better sleeps. just started to explore some D3 supplements, but very little if anything have I noticed .. curious that I started to double the dosage + started to take them with organic cream the other day. maybe now I will see some benefit. since the spring, I have been walking in the forest daily, as the dappled light is better for me. I burn easily. very fair skin. freckles. the extra oxygen, light, has definitely done me a world of good, in almost every metric I can look @. nature also seeks to exist better on the edges anything left in the wide open. gets pummelled with UV light, and it often looks unhealthy. maybe that is just the three bears story tho. everything needs to ‘ be just right ‘. all the proportions need to match for optimal efficiencies, but the linkage to fat soluble vitamins is very sound .. and a key thing almost everyone you know is lacking.

I've taken about a week off from doing my usual outside training/exercises I do, because of the very hot weather we are facing here. But the last day I trained outside before the forced break was 39 degrees celsius 102 fahrenheit. @@DeviatingVapors True. My heritage takes the moon as the source of calenders. Due to this some unknowing people think we even worship the moon, which cant be further from the truth. @brianwnc8168

@@DeviatingVapors I think you underestimate the power of bodily regulation via vitamin D as it relates to the Sun. The sun was originally our main source of vitamin D. It produces 25 different types of vitamin D in the body where is we only supplement with one. Vitamin D affects how nearly 75 percent of our genes Express in the body. Ideal gene expression has so much to do with long-term health. If you have very light skin and burn easily, you very quickly get enough vitamin D from daily sun exposure. If you're getting enough and you're young, you likely won't feel anything from supplementation. Because of the relationship to Sunshine and vitamin D, I stand strongly in saying that the sun affects far more in our health in reality than the moon. I know the moon's power because I used to cry and have a mental breakdown on half of the full moons in the winter. There is an effect. However, after I started taking vitamin D consistently in the winter, I am no longer plagued with mental breakdowns at Full Moon time in the winter.

I started taking 10,000 UI vitamin D3 for my skin issue and muscle ache. However, I realized that my sleep improves! Since early 40 (I am now 47), I have been having sleep issue, waking up 2 or 3 time to pee, waking up after 3/4 hours and couldn't sleep back till time for work. After taking vitamin D3, the most I wake once, and able to easily sleep back till 6am (exercise day) or 7am.

@@1212LoveAgain hi. I have watched several of these videos. It took me a long time to realise that what we eat, if not required immediately, gets stored. If we want it to get completely utilised, we must eat only as much as required. Not in excess. If we already have excess, we must eat in deficit, meaning, less than what the body requires. If we want to burn more energy, we must breathe more, because that is where burning happens. So work out more, do pranayama. When we breathe out, we release CO2. That is the only way excess weight can be shed. I hope this is technically correct, but this is what I have understood, and it helped me and people around me. Keto and IF are the tools that help immensely.

Interesting you mention this I’m very calm and tired in the daytime now taking 10,000 vit d3 k2 throughout the day. I’ll try 5,000 morning time and 5,000 before sleep tomorrow. Great to know :) thx doc Also trying to drink 1-2 litres a day of water as I used to have kidney stones and reoccurring utis but thankfully not anymore. I’m also enjoying transdermal magnesium spray on my thighs. Very relaxing overall.

For 10 years I had a problem with acne on my back and face when the winter comes. Summer- nothing, but in winter it can be pretty bad. This year, they were the worst so far and then I started researching and found your videos on vitamin D. First day after taking 10.000 UI, my acne stopped! I couldn’t believe my eyes. 15 days into taking this supplement, I no longer have acne, only red dots and scarring but everything stopped. I’m so thankful for your videos. They helped me after 10 years of struggling with acne. You’re a life saver ❤️

I started taking vitamin d in recent 2 months and i sleep so well now, but i also improved a host of factors like nutrition, food variety (non keto), eating more calories, 3MAD, stopped fasting, limiting coffee to mornings... It all added up, i was really sick for a while, inadvertently depleted myself trying to fat adapt combined with over-fasting. Vitamin d3 + B complex, magnesium supplementing at bed time were what helped me sleep before correcting those bigger issues.

Wow I always thought the B vitamins and D were associated with increased energy. Like in a 5 hour energy don’t they have a ton of B vitamins? Definitely will give them a try at night and see if it helps with sleep, my husband in particular has trouble with sleeping at night. Thanks

Somehow I read that D prevented sleep and I was having issues with sleep and stopped taking at night. Now I hit and miss taking it in the daytime. So glad to hear the truth about this. Back to my D3 at night and add B5. Thanks so much for your video health treasures❣️
