Yes many things we are used to from up north in Mexico is not common here in Puerto Vallarta or Jalisco. Each state has their own style of cooking. For example you don't find barbacoa, menudo like from north Mexico, flautas etc.

very good information... I will be there mid July - January, so I will see quite a range of different conditions. I love tropical places when they are nice and lush and green so that should be starting by the time I get there. the late day and night rain that you described sounds very much like some Caribbean Islands I have been to. you can still do things during the day then enjoy the cooler air at night.

It shouldn’t rain much, if it does it just a scattered rain shower only at night. It won’t mess up your plans. It doesn’t start raining everyday until August

Hi, quick question, where do you recommend buying a property in puerto Vallarta? Sayulita? Punta de mita?
@VallartaLife
3 жыл бұрын
It depends what areas you like. Sayulita and Punta de Mita are not considered part of Puerto Vallarta they are actually about 1 hour away in the next state of Nayarit. You would need to come and visit and see what areas you like.

I always recommend Playa Palmares south of Vallarta. That beach is nice and wide and has a part in from of the condos Palmares that is calmer we’re I like to swim since I’m not a expert swimmer. We have an Airbnb walking distance to that beach also some condos in front of that beach are on Airbnb

Hello! We are planning to move to PV next year mid-end August - is that a good time to come find long term rentals? We are planning to book a month on Airbnb first and look for apartments - we are concerned that all good ones would already be rented by snow birds coming down in November... would there still be a good selection of long term rentals in August? Thank you!

Hi! I’m interested in finding a job in PV. I’m Mexican born. I speak English and Spanish, but does age matter? I’ve heard it can normally be hard to find a job in Mexico once you pass the age of 35 (I’m 40). But do they give you a break as long as you’re bilingual? I’ll appreciate any info you can share. Thanks! 👍

Thanks for sharing and giving your suggestions in this video. I did travel from Mid June till the beginning of July this year and it rained alot. Especially at night time, like every night. I did get a few days of sun. So I guess the weather can be unusual some seasons. They said I should come back in the winter. Which is the cooler times. I enjoyed my time either way and may come back for the holidays just to get another chance of sunny weather to do some boat tours to other beaches. ❤️
