Freaking overdue! I've wanted to make this for months but backed off. I was so close to going for Christian Cage but returned to this because I promised to have it as the first TNA video. Angle signing was the most shocking thing of 2006, definitely. He comes in and proves to everyone that he's the very best in the business by having some classics against Samoa Joe. And if anything, Angle became even better(arguable) in TNA. What did you think of his debut?

WWE had Raw and Smackdown as its main shows while TNA only really had Impact. Between 1999-2002, before the brand split in other words, it was common to get Kurt Angle twice a week, and he was often in big storylines. So, while he was with TNA for longer, he probably worked longer hours for WWE and had more content overall.

If you look at WWE there are very few people who use a different moveset or have a different personality from the next joe shmo. Most cant put up a compelling promo either. It’s really crazy how Chris Benoit was still alive when Angle left WWE. It really sucks that you can’t completely honor Angle’s WWE legacy in the ring because many of Angle’s greatest matches in WWE almost always included Benoit. Kurt Angle in ECW would’ve been cool to see and could’ve helped the brand become more established and could’ve been the top star of ECW.ECW of course should’ve brought the ECW Originals in to help establish the new stars. The ECW roster would’ve consisted by Big Daddy V who would’ve been presented as a monster in the ring and be the largest wrestler in ECW,Kurt Angle could’ve been the top real athlete in ECW and that could’ve been his gimmick with him being The Worlds Greatest Athlete,Sabu would’ve been a veteran in the Extreme Championship Wrestling business and would already be established as a star,Super Crazy could’ve been the one of the best high flyers in ECW and could even rival Rey Mysterio Jr,Rob Van Dam of course would be ECW World Heavyweight Champion and would help establish the new title,SandMan would be presented as the wrestler no one wants to mess with and fear the most because of his unhinged personality,Tommy Dreamer would be the Heart and Soul of ECW and would be feuding with Rob Van Dam over the ECW World Title,CM Punk would be great to have Punk be the rising star in ECW and even have some feuds with Kurt Angle and Tommy Dreamer and Raven,Raven would return also and be a star in ECW and have one last match with Tommy Dreamer to end their feud,Rhyno would be in ECW and be shown still as the Man Beast and would even develop an undefeated streak and have a feud with Big Daddy V,Tazz would be the enforcer for ECW serving a similar personality to Samoa Joe in NXT and Stone Cold on RAW,Gene Snitsky would be drafted to ECW where he would become established as an unstable monster and would even have a feud with Rhyno and Tommy Dreamer,Bobby Lashley would be a rising star in ECW and would even win the ECW World Title at one point,Matt Hardy would jump to ECW at one point and would even create the Broken Matt Hardy gimmick around this time feeling extremely annoyed by all of his failures,Jeff Hardy would even return to ECW in which ECW would decide to bring back the ECW World Tag Team Titles and this would see The Hardy Boyz defeat RVD & Sabu for the Titles,Jazz would return to ECW and this would see Paul Heyman make a decision in creating the ECW Women’s Title,BWO would return to ECW which would see Stevie Richards annoy both Heyman and Tazz to bring back the ECW TV Title and would even see a segment where he goes to WWE HeadQuarters and tries to annoy The Board Of Directors,Hardcore Holly would be drafted to ECW and would decide to bring the Hardcore Title with him but this would annoy Paul saying that the title is not an active ECW Title which Holly would carry with him anyway,Al Snow and Mick Foley would be brought in as trainers for WWE Tough Enough,
