Shardpunk Verminfall is basically if XCOM and Left 4 Dead (or more accurately Vermintide) had a lovechild - you are outnumbered, and you are having to survive the onslaught - though with turn based tactics rather than well placed real-time headshots. Though the question is, how well did they pull it off? And does the small pinch of roguelite add much replayability?
And while it may need just a little more time in the oven (and the dev is still cooking it for sure, they're quite active on the steam forums) - the price is pretty solid for the experience - even if you beat it on normal difficulty the first time I like I did - it's still an enjoyable 6-10 hour tactical romp before the baking.
