I am by no mean a djokovic fan, but disqualifing him for very obviously unintentially hitting the line judge and immediately caring for her, that was really tough! Still, he didn't argue much with the decision, didn't shout at the main judge, got out of the court peacefully, and on top of all of that he apologized after the match for hitting her unintetially, and tweeted that he didn't mean that and hopes for the referee to get well soon!

@@jesuslovesmebut8180 @stevememc8160 You are not allowed to angrily smash a ball outside of a point and have it smack someone in the face. That is not a raw deal. That is an immediate disqualification no matter who you are. I would hope that he would be apologetic about it. Same thing with Shapopalov when he smashed a ball into the chair umpire's face, accidentally - he apologized immediately and it was obviously unintentional, but you cannot get away with that without being disqualified. No matter who you are.

The Referee in consultation with the Chief Supervisor declared a default based on Section T of Article III. I think the supervisor did what he had to do according to the Code of Conduct. But I watched this game and there was absolutely no intention from Djokovic. It was an unfortunate and unlucky action! However, the rules do no separate that, its hard to say if it was or wasn't intentional from a neutral pov. But still, Djokovic took the call like a man, he knew he did wrong and apologized, now THAT was good sportsmanship from him!!

@@michaelking2236wtf Novak didn't do it intentionally and the line judge gave a kidney touching acting performance The Us open officials knew that Novak would win the tournament comfortably, so this was the only way they could make him lose What a Sore Loser the tennis officials and the umpires, a disgrace to the tennis fraternity

Good question. This video is terrible and demonstrates almost no knowledge of tennis.
