I have an interesting story. My friend was dying from cancer. She was a nominal Catholic. She went to the Buddhist temple to ask them for prayers for healing. They asked her what religion she was. She said Catholic. They said go there. Only Catholics have miracles, we do not. She was intrigued. Later she watched a History channel show on the stigmata. She became deeply interested in St Pio. I gave her my books to read. She died a very holy death.

Here’s a bit of knowledge from a Catholic who lives in a Buddhist country. Over here, we have shrines called “Devala” where deals can be struck with various deities (Basically demons) for favors both benevolent and malevolent. Some go there asking for favors like conceiving children, success in exams, businesses etc. others go there to curse their enemies, wish ill on someone who wronged them or even to win the hearts of someone they love! This voodoo stuff is very real in these parts of the world and coupled with horoscopes and fortune telling, it’s a way of life for Buddhist. They even use auspicious times to plan their journeys, significant events like weddings and opening of businesses etc.

I was really impressed by Bhutan -- a Buddhist kingdom -- because of their dedication to preservation of the environment and Well-being of their citizens. I began researching their ways and was scared away by their depiction of demons. I have great respect for Buddhists, and i firmly believe that early Christian elders spent considerable time in a form of collective meditation, that gave them the power to heal, to cast out devils, to eat poisonous food without being harmed etc.
@betrion7

@@chrisfernandes3353I'm afraid you have not learned from early Christians then as they never did such a thing. There are easily accessible books of early disciples, now known as church fathers. Didache is one of the earliest of such texts if you are interested. Excorcist, or any believer for that matter, casts out a demon in Jesus name - not by his own personal power. In baptism you received a Holy Spirit - the same one that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you. That last part there is from the bible, you would do well with reading of those texts as well 😊

Cuz in the past I was very excited about buddism matrial arts and that power that they gain through their training and meditation and even wanted to spend time in some kind of Shaolin Temple to achieve that power level to break stones, move objects and have very strong body. But then I discovered a story about orthodox saint Paisios and young buddhist monk, wich have great power. But actually Paisios showed him that he had that power because was possessed by demons. If it's not difficult, would be very interesting to see in the future more videos about catholic saints or exorcist explain danger of Buddhism, especially if its connected with doing it's matrial arts.

Actually this Channel said something similar to these before: If you experience these weird preternatural powers, then there are demons and evil spirits attached to you, and also: I believe a lot of not most of Buddhist monks do not have these powers to the point that they often pridefully claimed "with humility (bruh)": Just look at that Chinese Shaolin monk fight with a Muay Thai fighter that I forgot the name, these things you see are mostly tricks like in a circus: for example a man is stabbed by spikes but the spikes instead of piercing through were curved instead, now here's the thing: only the tip of the spikes are sharp, the sides are not and the force is indirect; another is when that man was hit by long pieces of wood but the wood pieces break, that is actually because these pieces hit him not in the tips but hit him in the slowest moving part, so the tips may look like it is fast moving and strong but the place that hit his body was slow, tribuchets are also using these physics.

About demons, by Saint Isaac from Siria: "What is cleanliness? In short, it is the mercy of the heart towards the whole nature. And what is the mercy of the heart? It is the flame that encompasses the whole creation, people, birds, animals, demons, all creation. When he thinks of them or when he looks at them, man feels his eyes fill with tears from a deep and great pity that dominates the heart and makes it unable to endure, hear or see even the slightest injury or sorrow endured by any creature."

The title of this vlog is misleading & demonizing Buddhism. I don't know if the admin of this blog has unintentionally overlooked a very important information conveyed by the Buddhist monk OR it is the admin's inability to understand the cosmology of Buddhism (I assume both). Buddhism main teaching is compassion for all beings in Universe, this is similar to the teaching of Jesus, which is Love and compassion. In minute 1:55, the monk very clearly stated that "THE GOAL IS TO TRANSFORM THEM (the demons) INTO ENLIGHTENED BEINGS", or in other words Buddhism cosmology believes in the opportunity for the demons to transform again into enlightened beings or return to the Light or God's way. For that purpose, Tibetan Buddhism has rituals that are believed able to GUIDE THE DEMONS BACK INTO THE LIGHT OR into the PURE REALM, see information at 1:38 and 1:42. THUS, in Buddhism cosmology and teaching that is based on compassion for all beings exist in Universe ("'IT IS NOT TO KILL" in minute 1:40), even demons deserve their chance to repent and return into THE LIGHT / THE PURE REALM, and Buddhism being consistent with their teaching, even demons should not be killed if they can repent. In minute 2:40, it is also clearly stated that IF FRIENDLY WAYS TO TRANSFORM THESE DEMONS DON'T WORK, THEN A BUDDHIST IS ALLOWED TO USE FORCE TO CHANGE THE DEMONS FOR THE BETTER. ---- I find this teaching in Buddhism of giving demons second chances to repent and transform themselves into better beings has similarity with the story of Jesus chasing the demons into the pigs. When Jesus actually could condemn the Legion into hell directly with the power and authority that He has, but Jesus didn't do it, instead He granted the request of the Legion and transfer them into the pigs. What happened to Legion afterwards? unfortunately, it was no longer being recorded in the Bible. I am a born-Catholic myself of the third generation in my family, of Southeast Asia background, thus I am exposed & made familiar (not fluent) with various religions existing in my environment, including Buddhism.

For viewers who are not observant enough with the content & only draw conclusion from a title would immediately misjudged Buddhism's cosmology on demons. @@alisterrebelo9013 I guess you're 12 from this reaction Nonetheless, your god is just a dæmon among others. It's proved by the actual scientific history. Nothing differentiate your beloved imaginary and non-omnipotent yhwh from the other deities Christianity decided to label as "demons". You invisible demon worshipper

YHWH is a Greek demon? Bruh! 🙄💀💀💀 What's YHWH mean in Greek: Is there a demon named YHWH in Greek mythology? Why did the Hebrews know the name of YHWH?

@@spiritualwarfareseries .. Sorry... Medjugorie is FAKE! 🤥...NONE OF THE BISHOPS of Medjugorie have accepted anything SUPERNATURAL occuring there. Many good priests also reject Medjugorie because of all the problems it has. 🙏

Why must you constantly distinguish “Catholic”. It is not necessary and creates division. Nobody these days thinks Catholics or priest are a good thing.. when you say Catholic, we think demonic. So just tell the story. And look at the ritual of befriending demons with open ears. With no judgment. If I suffer from anger and bouts of rage there is a practic that can help me as rage is difficult. I can imagine my uncontrollable rage as a big monster with big teeth big claws. The monster symbolizes rage and in my imagination the monster devours me, rips me apart. I graphically imagine the destruction of myself and put my ripped body parts in a pot over the fire. The fire cooks my body until it becomes a liquid. The liquid becomes a nectar that is fed to the monster. This nectar is grace or peace. But it tames the monster. For all ignorant Catholics this is a mental exercise to help in dealing with one’s own rage.

You are insane and the only ignorant here. Nobody thinks to demonic when talking of Catholics unless they are not deceived like you. Said by someone Who befriends demons then again. Lol Completely twisted reality. 🙄 Stick to your made up religion and don't teach Catholics what to do because you have not the credentials by the tone of your comment. Check a close exorcist to you...Catholic of course because they are the only ones that can make demons run away not gongs, sage and mental visions stuff..🤦 Demons are not your friends and rage Is demonic as well. Catholics hardly rage..

Also you're right that catholics aren't viewed positively nowadays and for good reason, but that doesn't in any way justify or support your ignorant views on demons

Patricia, as a Catholic who is familiar with a thing or two about Buddhism, I can vouch that especially the tantric Buddhism of Tibetan origin, there are many demonic entities involved. The shugden is one prime example.
