Beast Of Turin, Goodwood, FIAT S76
Over a hundred years ago, the German Karl Benz brought to the world what is now considered one of the first cars that became available in the market for the general public, the so-called Benz Patent-Motorwagen, in 1888. Back then, with three wheels and a dream, the car had a max speed of 10 Miles/h or 16 km/h respectively, which is slightly above what the average person can run.
It wasn’t a car for people that really wanted to feel the wind, to say the least-with that speed, you might as well travel on a horse-pulled carriage.
As expected, however, engineers and car lovers took on the challenge to change that. And fast, because it was much more fun to spur these metal beasts to run free.
