They'll probably give him his rematch, he's going to talk more shit, be more aggressive in the fight and then lose. If Strickland keeps up that Philly Shell defense and just spice it up a bit he'll win. That's my personal opinion/prediction.

Eh, it’s not like he hasn’t lost before. It’s the name of the game and anyone who steps foot in the ring in front of millions is already more resilient than 90% of us. He’ll be fine, his game has always been one of adaptation. Props to Strickland though. He shocked the world and this was no fluke, flash knockout, it was a technical dismantling and seeing someone come in a with a game plan, stick to it and win as a heavy underdog is good for the sport.

I feel like a big part of Izzys problem/problems is that the majority of people he's fought were either afraid or intimidated by him or his record. Both Strickland and Pierrera (sp) didn't show any fear at all and were the aggressors so it put izzy in a very weird, uncomfortable spot that he's not used to. Plus the fact that he's either forgot or forgone a lot of basic boxing fundamentals due to feeling that he's "beyond all that" and it worked against him.

I wasn’t able to watch the fight but looking at these highlights it just seems that Sean expected everything that izzy threw. Apparently Sean’s coach was also yelling out what izzy was setting up the entire fight which, in addition to helping out Sean, probably threw izzy off his game majorly. Also you’re right, he didn’t look slow, he looked hesitant when setting up and throwing, and genuinely confused by how Sean reacted/neutralized Izzy’s combos.
