I've watched a lot of these kinds of videos lately. "I can't breath" is the standard statement of *all* subjects being arrested now. All races, men and women start saying it as soon as the cops tell them they're under arrest. Saw one video, don't remember the channel, a woman started saying it as soon as the cops told her to put her hands behind her back. She was even standing up.

If you can say “I can’t breathe” then you CAN breathe. As an asthmatic myself, When people start struggling to breathe, they won’t have enough air to pass through their vocal cords to make any sound. So they will try to conserve air as best they can, so they get real quiet.

Quashon Burton around 9:56 Okay so I understand about arresting him for a warrant but if I was him, yes I'd give my actual name, date of birth, my state ID. But I would have asked for the cops to walk me over away from my own child. I wouldn't want my son to see me in handcuffs. It's upsetting because when anyone freaks out about being in handcuffs, the child can feel your emotions. They are a little you. So of course they can tell and feel whatever your feeling. BUT set all that to the side, I would have asked personally to tell my child that "it's okay and mama loves you no matter what". You know. That's my main issue with this part of the video.

Pinning you down on your back So you're facing the cops or putting you in a bear hug While telling you to put your hands behind your back should also be a crime. I can't count how many videos I've seen where they tell you to put your hands behind your back But you physically cannot because of the way they have you pinned. Then when you don't they repeatedly yell at to do it.
@coalblooded

No, that should not be a crime. It's stupid, yes (much like the suggestion that it should be a crime), but that does not constitute a criminal act. If they shot someone for not doing what they told them to do, when the subject clearly was unable to follow the order given, then yes, that would (hopefully) be a crime. That's different. Barking inconsistent orders is stupid and dangerous, but not something that should be criminalized in and of itself.

Still when they prevent you from putting your hands behind your back and keep getting more and more mad and forceful they can realize you can't comply. Maybe it's just me but it seems like they are smart enough to realize things like that. I don't know. I'm a literal thinker. If was arresting someone and somehow preventing them from complying I'll stop what is preventing them from complying and handle them differently while still maintaining control. I get it though. Fighting and things escalating.
