Try to forget it. You never did Taekwondo. Then once you get the boxing basics and stuff down, you’ll be able to reincorporate certain things from Taekwondo back into it to improve your boxing. I did karate for many years and it’s always hard to switch to a new style. Just forget everything you’ve learned previously and only focus on the basics of the new style

That's how I roll. I conditioned my shins so well that a low swinging steel girder only took a tiny chip out of my shin when I worked in a steel yard. No leg break, just a chip of bone and flesh where my shin hit the corner.

I’ve done this with kata practice. I went at Hian Shodan - Konku-Sho for 2.5h straight. By the time I got done my legs didn’t work right for the rest of the day. Worth it!
