Hey Tartan Man! With the obvious Corona virus concerns I know people are probably traveling more with hand sanitizer. Do you know if there has been any updated restrictions on having hand sanitizer with a carry-on due to the possible flammability of it? I enjoy your articles on what people try to get past the TSA and it just occurred to me that this might be an issue as well.

Great question! Right now (August 2020) the TSA has an altered allowance for hand sanitizer set at 12 oz per passenger. Here is the current information from the TSA...'TSA is allowing one liquid hand sanitizer container up to 12 ounces per passenger in carry-on bags until further notice. Passengers can expect that these containers larger than the standard allowance of 3.4 ounces of liquids permitted through a checkpoint will need to be screened separately, which will add some time to their checkpoint screening experience. Please keep in mind that all other liquids, gels and aerosols brought to a checkpoint continue to be allowed at the limit of 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters carried in a one quart-size bag.'
