Yousif........thank you......I was the one the other day who requested this. Very well done and better than any Hotshot has shared. This topic is a small details but a valuable detail for those of use considering this business. The only thing you didn't mention was what are typical cold night temperatures outside and have you so far been able to get through the whole night in a minus zero sleeping bag without running the engine even for a bit? Appreciate it!

$3 diesel in CA?? We wish!!! It’s close to $5 After my research about idling the Cummins for long time, the conclusion is that it’s not good for the engine for several reasons. It’s best to get a small generator and let that do the work of keeping your warm or cool.

Thank you, that's a lot of good information. I have a few questions though, does DOT ever cause a problem for you, sleeping in a pickup? I drive a big rig with a sleeper but I have 2 dually Chevy Silverado crew cab pickups. Is there good paying work in hot shot? I see a lot of hotshot trucks on the road.I know it would take some effort to get started.

lol, you are camping out. so, what about staying in a hotel or motel? $11 for shower at truck stop, if you idled, 12 - 20 a night, $31.00. if a room could cost $55 a night would it worth the comfort and convenience. i know it would cut into profits. i wonder if hotel would let you park the truck, trailer and goods in their parking lot and how safe would the goods be that you carry if you stayed at hotel?

You talk about the idling time overnight and cost of diesel. Do you not consider the wear and tear on the motor? What’s the cost on engine components ? Used/second hand trucks are sold/bought on distance travelled shown on the odometer. In reality it should be on hours operated. Guess if you buy new (like you did) it doesn’t matter. If you buy used then it’s “buyer be ware”

I like your channel and your positive attitude but if I might give my two cents I think it is all very well orchestrated, what I mean is I find it very hard that you never have any breakdowns or issues with brokers or day to day stressful situations and you never have those as part of your videos so it feels you only make videos of loads that you get paid very nicely and never of loads that get you mad and I know there are some days like that, everyone has days like that but they are not on your videos. I mean, is your channel and you do what you want but I get the feeling is all very fake and not true to what commercial drivers deal with every day. Don’t be afraid of showing the real thing, it will help those who are thinking in getting into this by knowing the full scope of things and that is not always smelly roses all the time. Like you show footage of getting this nice paid loads and you mentioned you were waiting for it for two days refreshing the load board parked at a truck stop but there is no footage of those two days at all, I’m sure during those two days you must have got worried or stressed and it will help to see how you deal with those situations. Good luck.

🛻🛌😴 *I wonder if there is a truck bed sleeper that is able to fit even with a gooseneck trailer attached. It would probably have to be a specialty compartment.* Do you ever decide to stay in a hotel? And do you ever have problems from people for parking somewhere and sleeping all night?
