It's interesting that when I saw the title of your next release I thought that people would read too deeply into it and assume you are pro-Trump. I want to assure you I didn't as I felt you are more of a free thinker than someone affiliated and devoted to a political dogma. The risk of this polarization is how it silences the calm and cold headed people. I've always been quite political since my teen years and it was a big part of my teen and adult identity to have conversations with people I didn't agree with. I have a ton of respect for people that I have very little in common with because they were able to have a factual calm discussion on many subjects. That has ended. Since Covid I shut down that part of my identity. For conservatives I'm dumb liberal, for progressives I'm a fascist because I don't scream on their side, for anti-vaxxers I'm a shill. It's as if everyone is trying to point the finger at other people's "wrongness" instead of being part of the solution. And to be honest I'm tired and I genuinely believe this will only get worst before it gets better.

@@synapticschism @synapticschism I think you're absolutely correct. Independents and moderates are more likely to disengage when we actually need to hear from them more to bridge the divide. With this release I am speaking out against the Democratic party because it's supposed to stand for my liberal values but it doesn't anymore. I am not really interested in criticizing Trump or the Republicans bc I don't feel like they represent me.

@@pype720 I find it more logical to criticize those who we are supposed to be aligned with than to attack those we aren't aligned with. Weirdly this seems to be a negative thing nowadays.
