Haha, I lost it for a year. I was so disappointed, and my son found it.. haha, I was sure it was gone forever.

I should start looking for silver coins.. I use to search quarters. Only found a couple of 90 percent quarters. I did start sets! Great video!

Thank you... There are still a few silver coins that float around. Keep you eye out, you'll get one here and there. .

Something fell into the die chamber or was stuck on the die punch. At first it looked like a cud.

@@russellking1924 that was my first thought too. It's pretty interesting, but I'm not sure it's not just after mint thing.

Gabby, Marshall is saying it is a "magic coin" the coin is hollow, you can pull the two pieces apart. Weigh it.

@@dj45dj45 I will, but I think the rim was somehow altered. Anyway, I will definitely check it out

@@dj45dj45 I weighed the half dollar. It weighs 10 grams, considerably less than others. After a close look, someone with a fine cutting device cut all around the rim about a centimeter

Not bad Gabby!! Would that be the Ohio river you crossed?

Yes it is... It's actually the 2nd street bridge if I didn't mention it. We really like that bridge, plus as a bonus there is no toll to cross it

@@TwoshedsGabby I read an awesome book or really a series of books about a guy from Kentucky. He left home and eventually became a mountain man. His first adventure was working on a flat boat on the Ohio river going all the way to New Orleans . Fascinating read.

@@TwoshedsGabby Terry C. Johnston is the author. Dance on the wind is the book about the flat boat adventure. That’s the second book. I can’t remember the name of the first one. But look him up and there are maybe 6-7 books in the series. Awesome reads!! Enjoy
