So glad you're finally giving the Pixies some love. One of the greatest bands that unfortunately didn't become as big as the bands they inspired. Nirvana, Radiohead, among many others.

I’d argue they were the biggest band outta Boston at that time. They had such a unique sound . The first time I heard Surfer Rosa it absolutely blew me away. I saw them back in 89’ they opened for Love and Rockets at Great woods . My buddy and I had seats in the second row . One of the best times in my life . God do I miss the 80s..

I’m not a big fan of music, don’t listen to it that much… most of it is just noise to me… but there are just pieces that just have a ‘magic’, another-worldly nature to it. When that electric guitar comes in in the intro it is like a spiritual experience. I just can’t believe a human being managed to make that up!

It would be very helpful for many of us to take a simply tune and do a lesson with rhythm guitar, lead guitar, base, and drums. And talk about how the instruments works together to be a tune. It should be simple so people like could play all parts.

It is in the key of E with two borrowed chords. The G# major and the A minor chords are not a diatonic chord in the key of E. It is worth learning from Justin's practical music theory course to understand this better. www.justinguitar.com/store/practical-music-theory And check this community topic also. community.justinguitar.com/t/using-borrowed-chords-introduction-examples/152037 Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher
