@Travelingisraelinfo I love your videos. Please never change your stance of giving us your viewers the truth and your perspective. The only thing I don't like is how catholicism has infiltrated Israel with their creepy churches with the creepy depictions of Jesus and Christianity. Catholicism is just a continuation of the Babylonian mother/child cults and has ZERO to do with Christianity that is in the Bible. Catholicism is a religion, Christianity is a relationship with Jesus who is God.

It's rather sad that compared to ancient times of its ecology the Jordan river, probably was very green, rich and life inspiring. It now looks sapped, tired, neglected and devoid of beauty. It is understandable however, that because it serves as a border between nations mired in memory and tradition of hostility the Jordan river is not given the deserving chance needed to thrive. But despite the sadness, great job that you brought this area and its history into full public view.

@@generaljg4373 wasn't the name Israel changed by the Roman Empire to Palistine? Just wondering 🤔 💭
@salyluz6535
11 ай бұрын
@@ericjoblutherjansen7954 Yes the Roman Empire did this in order to humiliate the Israelis. They found it especially funny to use the name of the Philistines, whose giant Goliath was killed by David when he was still a young boy. The Philistines also used the woman Delilah against the Israeli Judge Sampson. They captured him and gouged his eyes out. Knowing this history, the Roman Empire thought it was quite amusing to choose the name of a small group of extinct people who had formerly lived around the city of Gaza, to appropriate that name and apply it to the larger Promised Land, promised by God to Abraham, Isaac and Israel’s descendants forever. When part of the land was returned to the Jewish people as a homeland on their original territory, the name was returned to being called Israel. God changed Jacob‘s name to Israel in the Bible, and his 12 sons became the 12 tribes of Israel. So it is proper that the Holy Land is known by the name that goes back to its founding, Israel! The original philistines are also seafaring European people from the Greek islands, and were not an Arabic people. After the Philistines were killed off, within the last millennium these Arabic people moved in and appropriated their name. But this is the Promised Land that God gave to his people, rightfully named Israel. Look up online and see the size of the kingdom of David, and the Kingdom of Solomon. All that land belongs to the Israeli people, but they gave up rights to very much of it in exchange for peace. The nations of Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are on part of this land today. So where is Israeli peace right now? The only Arabic people who want to live in peace that we know of for sure, are the ones living within Israel now, who are very glad they live in a democracy! A recent survey of them shows that they do not want to live in Gaza or any other surrounding Islamic nation. They appreciate that in Israel they have good infrastructure, good schools, the opportunity to attend university, many opportunities to get ahead in life, opportunity to start their own businesses and be a success! They have the opportunity to become a citizen of Israel and be part of the political process, even running for office if they wish! And an increasing number of Muslims, Christians and Druze are choosing to voluntarily join the Jews in the IDF! They don’t have to (like the Jews do), but they are choosing to. If you don’t believe me, look up Major Ella, Formerly known as Captain Ella. She is an observant Arabic speaking Muslim woman who is a Major in the IDF!
