Fantastic video Kev. Great to see you promoting the best food area in Sydney. Would love to see you expand maybe do a full video on Lao food in the area. Also a video on the "dark side" of Cabramatta that is the plethora of vegetarian restaurants that exist here. I know vege is not everyone's cup of tea but people need to know how good SE Asian vege food really is and how it is very well catered for in SW Sydney. Keep up the greats vids mate.

So nice to see you do a Cambodian food video. I’m Cambodian and a lot of people I know have never tried Khmer food - have introduced them to Khmer food and they all love it. You should come down to Springvale in Melbourne for more Khmer food videos. My dad actually takes a bite of chilli and follow by nom pajok after so it is a Cambo thing! 😁

As a fellow Kon Khmer, You made me so proud that you said the Vietnamese took Cambodian idea of that dish 😊 and made it into something similar. I can tell that you are a proud Cambodian, Thank you for your contribution of putting us on the map again. Cambodian people should be more proud of who they are, we are one of the first one of the original, and it’s time to rise! Time to show the world! Our history and culture dates way back 3000 years, torn and broken up by invaders. So evidently all of SE Asian country was influenced by my beloved country Kingdom of CAMBODIA Kampuchea Khmer empire 🇰🇭 ❤

Cambodians have copied the cuisine of Thailand and Vietnam
@crew
Ай бұрын
The same way Thailand directly copied Teochew/Hokkien Chinese food and Lao, Burmese, and Khmer food. Even the majority of the thai food and ingredients are direct words from Teochew/Hokkien Chinese food. Many Teochew people know that thai food has a strong influence from their culture. When we visit your country, it reminds us of our ancestors food and feel proud that you got influence from Teochew Chinese people. The only thing “thai” is all those stinky/funky type of food but even those are mostly derived from Lao people.
