You don't want to. Take rocks I got caught at rocky mountain National Park. When I got back down to the bottom 2 rangers were waiting. They said "what are these bulges in your pants? They impounded my snowshoes, snowboard, hammer, took my year park pass, and issued me a citation.

We have been vacationing here every year for the past 5 years. We start out in Cody, we stay two nights there (moose creek lodge). Then we drive through Yellowstone on our way to Jackson and stay two nights there (elk creek lodge). Then we drive through Yellowstone to West Yellowstone and stay two nights there (hibernation station). Then we drive through Yellowstone to Red lodge and stay two nights there (rock creek resort). Every place we stay is between 250-350 a night.

Hi guys! Love your channel and get SO much great info from you! One note: For the Hostel in Teton Village: you get a private room with a private bathroom. Can either have a king size bed or four singles (including one set of bunks). At $199/night this is our go-to for the Tetons. It's rustic, but we love it and go back every year!

That was very informative. i know Jackson Hole is a big place for wealthy skiers from around the world. and i am sure some Hollywood actors have homes there. I didn't realize it was that expensive. That frame of the Cowboy bar, just down the street where the arch of horns on the corner. they have a live camera there, i have seen the stagecoach taking passengers for rides. neat video!

I’ve seen The Grand Teton in 1997 when my husband and I vacationed in Yellowstone National Park. It’s like a calendar or post card come to life! Extremely beautiful!

@@WereintheRockies It was great. I loved the carved bears on the balcony 😉. I don't remember what we paid then but I can see that today it's around $500 per night in July. Looking in my diary from 2013 I discovered that the place we stayed in then was called Viginian Lodge and today's price is similar to The Lodge.

Yes. Look into camping. I just booked my own campsite for Teton for this year. There are also some free options. Make sure to read my camping guide to be prepared: wereintherockies.com/grand-teton-camping/

Love this! We certainly didn't get nearly enough of TNP when we visited in 2020, and we'll do a better job of it when we go back (maybe summer 2023). This info is helpful! Thanks for pointing out your travel guide on your website as well.

Why do you think it is so expensive to stay at Jenny Lake Lodge in the summer months? I looked at the rates for July. I actually paid fewer nights at Lake Louise Chateau in Canada a couple of years ago.

@WereintheRockies Yeah, I read that dinner was included. Better get a free bottle of wine per night.

@WereintheRockies To me, it was I stayed there two nights. Was able to start the loop hike early Plain of Six Glacier to Big Beehive to Lake Agnes Tea house and Little Beehive in a day. Got lunch went canoeing. Then I got dinner and was able to get sunset. Far fewer people at sunset than sunrise. I tried to get Lodging at Lake O'Hara Lodge for this August. But I was not able to because they favor to returning guess. So, I booked a couple of nights at The Lodge at Bow Lake for August.

I was shocked at the lodging prices and almost gave up on going. But I found the hostel and booked there. It got good reviews as a “high end” hostel.
