Great advice, and honestly, at some point I'm going to have to acquire a Corvette just to check it off my master list of cars i need to experience. Thanks for you input and for watching!

GTyar, good to see ya brother. Glad your job is smoothing out. As for your question, Miata, Audi then BMW. Honestly my man, I'll watch whatever you put on this channel. Have an awesome day brother. 👍👍👍

Is go with the Z4 if you can find one cheap or an MZ3. I’ve owned 3 BMWs,2 e36 M3s a 95 and 97 and my poor 2002 e46 M3 individual in Dakar Yellow that’s been sitting. Point is Nothing drives like a BMW, It’s super fun car.

The best driving car ive ever owned was an e34, 1992 525i. Always felt planted and confident no matter the weather or speed. Appreciate the vote bro =-)

@@gtyar4395 Would not argue that BMW'S drive well, but too many plastic parts in a hot engine compartment. Plastic and heat is no bueno. What are you leaning towards?

Miata> 'vette (not sure about C4s tho)> BMW> Audi. My standings are based on the little research I did when I was in the market for them as a daily but, I tend to have a reliability bias, because although I enjoy working on my car I'm at a point where I can't afford a garage queen lol. Though my take: BMWs a BMW (tho the Z4 styling is so 2000s cool & I oggle them in parking lots whenever I see one lol, like they look like a blobfish in the front but in a cool way lol) & the TTs I got scared away from they just seem so temperamental always liked the visible rollbar tho. In the end of my personal journey with convertibles I ended up going with a 2nd Gen V6 Toyota Solara, but although I have fun in it it's FWD/4seater and a bit heavy because its just a restyled 2D Camry with a convertible top, but it suits my purposes rn. Now when I graduate college and get in my field/can think about getting a second car I reallyyy want to snag an MR2 Spyder because with the midengine and the Toyota origin as long as you take care of the precat (or if the prior owner has) those things are my idealized roadster. Though Im also obvi into Solstices (how I found your channel) & I wouldnt mind owning a late model transam. I'd just go with your gut but I'm sure the advice is helpful, take care dood can't wait to see what you get next.

I'm with you when it comes to reliability, I have always leaned more towards that inherit trait that most of the Japanese cars possess. As far as my small list goes, the Z4 is the best looking car to me, even with its blob-fish like front end =-). Thank you for sharing your research and opinion, and also thank you for watching!

Brother GTyar, might I suggest a higher level solstice or Sky, you know the turbo version... I loved all your Kappa platform videos. Ok, I've said my piece... I will definitely watch your stuff. BMW's use too much plastic in their engine bays. Go Japanese or Solstice Turbo my man... 👍👍👍🍻

Honestly, if i could find one under 10 grand, i might actually go for a turbo solstice... my darn budget is so small! One day, when i have an actual garage again, I will break my own rule and purchase a nice GXP to enjoy =-) Good advice sir! I agree about the beamers though, some models use too much plastic in their engine bay...

I’m having such a tough time choosing which roadster or small hatchback to choose. Mostly down to what’s available around but hardly anything man 🙄 what do you think about shipping a vehicle? Would driving a hatchback like an abarth 500 minimize insurance costs? Given that it’s not a “sports car,” necessarily.? Anyways, would love to see you review a bmw z3 (4cyl), or a corvetti spagetti.

The only way I would feel comfortable having a vehicle shipped is if I actually saw the car in person first. I've never done it, and I feel like there are too many variables to juggle if you haven't touched or driven a car before purchasing. I hope you find something that brings you joy very soon! Do you prefer convertibles or hatchbacks more?
