Thank you for this comparison video, it's helped me decide on my first display tablet. I was considering the 16 pro and 16 2021 and the 16 2021 wins for me after your detailed information. I have been searching for a decent comparison of these and you provided exactly the breakdowns I needed. I subscribed and liked on this basis. Again, thank you for saving me time and money!

thanks to this video i decided to go for the 4k version. It was on a black friday sale, just 60$ more expensive than the 2.5k. But if it wasn't for that i would definitely go for the 2.5k. The faster response time, the felt nibs, and one thing you forgot, the qled screen, with higher contrast and color gamma were very tempting.

Thank you so much for making this video. It helped me choose the best option. I'm going with the 2.5k model since your explanation clarified what would be useful for my digital drawing needs. As someone new to digital art, I believe any of these tablets would feel great, so I'll go with the mid-range option as it seems to have the most advantages for me.

Amazing video!! Love these comparison reviews. I believe they make it much easier to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each model when compared side by side. I've been researching the 16" models, I'm thinking about getting the new XPPen Artist PRO16 (Gen2), many artists are talking very well and saying that it's a huge evolution in XPPen Pen Displays. It would be incredible to see a comparative review like this between it and the Kamvas Pro16 2.5K, as both are QHD and in the same price range.

This made me not feel as bad for my impulse buy- I bought a 16 pro (2.5K) used on Ebay for $238. But it is impossible to find the 4K for under $450 at the moment (Even with deals on used or refurbished)... so at nearly half the price, the 2.5K might even outshine the 4K.

Excellent review, thanks a lot! Do you recommend the 2.5 or the kamvas 22 plus, which is less resolution but larger, i am lost and confused
@plainlysimple
Жыл бұрын
Hi! That depends on what’s important to you. If I have to choose, I’ll pick the 2.5k as the 16 inch is the perfect size for me. And resolution and hidpi is a big factor for me. But if size is a big factor for you then choose the 22. The 22 has a max resolution of 1920 x 1080 so it will look a bit pixelated compared to the 2.5k. For me, I don’t like to work on a pixelated screen, and I want my drawings to look very crisp. But if you’re not bothered by it looking a bit pixelated then go for the 22. If hidpi is a big factor then choose the 2.5k

Hello! Thank you for making this super in-depth video! I'm still a bit confused with screen resolution :/ I have a 5k 27" iMac, so wondering which of these three screens would offer the best experience when paired? I'm not fussed if it has buttons or not, but would like the UI not to be super tiny (I have old person eyes) but also it to be nice a crispy, not blurry. I hope someone can help me decide :D
@plainlysimple
Ай бұрын
Based on what you're describing here, I think 4k is the one for you. 4k doesn't have any buttons. The UI isn't too small, and it's 4k. 😊 You can check out the specs here: store.huion.com/products/kamvas-pro-16-4k-series?af_code=C61OHJ

They are very close. Here are the dimensions. Width: Macbook pro 16 = 35 cm Kamvas 16 pro 4k = 40 cm Height: Macbook pro 16 = 24.81 cm Kamvas 16 pro 4k = 25.74 cm Thickness: Macbook pro 16 = 1.68 cm Kamvas 16 pro 4k = 1.3 cm The Kamvas 16 pro 4k is slightly bigger.

@plainlysimple
10 ай бұрын
I haven't tried pro 16 1080 res, so take this with a grain of salt, but I would say the 2021 version is better because it's newer (they've used latest tech, latest usb c etc.). I've looked at the specs and they're the same on a glance. The 2021 has more buttons, so I think the 2021 has a slight edge over the pro 16 1080p

@plainlysimple
Ай бұрын
Hi! I'm not sure what you mean by chromatic aberration? I have been using it for about 2 years and I haven't noticed anything. If you're talking about some slight color shifts around the edges, I do notice a little bit only when I put a white solid on the edges, but I'm not bothered by it since the edges are the UI of the software I'm using. And I don't notice it when it's colored. I could only barely notice it on white. This is also true for my wacom cintiq so I think it's normal as the gadget ages. But aside from that I don't see any color issues. Hope that helps 😊

Question: I plan to use one of these for editing photos. Can you tell the difference between the 25ms vs 14ms response time when editing photos or drawing? Thank you.😀
@HoshPak
10 ай бұрын
The response time indicates how quickly the display's content is being updated. Most screens that operate in 60Hz have an average response time of 16.7ms. it's only noticeable when you directly interact with the screen i.e. when gaming or drawing in this case. It shouldn't be much of a concern when editing photos.

Awesome set up. I’m on a budget with a 32” Ben-Q Monitor, 24” XP-Pen 2K display tablet, M2 Mac mini, Logitech MX Keys (nice n flat), and an MX Keys Mini when using the tablet, and a Kensington wireless Orbit (coz I’m old and get wrist and joint issues). I just ordered the Huion 24” 4K Kamvas coz 2K just doesn’t cut it on a 24” display tablet! But 24” is great as it is a little smaller than the 32” monitor - and because of the size, the massive 24” display tablet pushes the 32” back far enough for it to look like a 27” with 4K. Another plus of the Huion is the laminated display - so no parallax issues… and of course, having 4K right up to the pen should be amazing. Well, I have my fingers crossed anyways!
