I happen to agree with you. Better detail and finish with the Tarmac Works. I have (15) Tarmac Works Hobbie race cars and have had no defects or problems. I have had two Mini Gts with out mirrors. The #44 NSX had on the of rear vents not painted, looks odd. The Mini Gt C8 corvettes have mirrors that are way too large. The newer Ferraris that just came out with Tarmac Works have tow hooks and even and air jack inlet with a pull rope. This is very cool for a 25.00 car. Like you I will take a Tarmac Works over a Mini Gt any day. However i do have Mini Gt NSX and Corvette C*'s because they are not made by Tarmac Works. I also have some Sparky's for the same reason. I think that Sparky are better than the Mini Gts but not as good as the Tarmac Works.

Very well summed up. I've not had any QC issues with MiniGT, I do with tarmac works, broken chassis on an R8, badly fitted headlights and a lot of wonky wings on the AMG's. Sparky are more consistent just very delicate wing mirrors

Between these two brands it is tied for me. I decide based on the liveries and teams I like and support. I love the metal base nature of mini gt making it heavier and gives a high quality feeling. When it comes to the details Tarmac is def much better and in some cars it makes a huge difference. I have the 935 K3 from Tarmac and you can just watch the details on the back for hours😂 The wheels can be a bit weird in some Tarmac models. Running into quality control issues is more common in Mini GT I guess but it is generally cheaper than Tarmac so its acceptable for me. I don't have NSX GT3 and I'm looking for the AlphaTauri one from Mini GT
