Here is how I have made mini bars or bottle display cabinets. These use 53-Gal used Whiskey or Bourbon wooden barrels.
I'm hanging my hammer up and no longer making them, so I'm passing the info and tricks to you to make your own.

53 Gal Whiskey Barrel 1
barrel head, extra 1
LEDs (eshine, black 3 pucks, dimmable) 1
Glass; 23" dia x 3/8" thick, polished edge. 1
Lazy Sue bearing; 12" dia 1
Lazy Sue backing; 19-3/4"da x 3/8" ply 1
Lazy Sue wood round bottom; 18" dia x 1" 1
Screws; #10 1" black pan head 34
staples; 1/4" x 1" 3/8 crown 18G (pneumatic). 30
Polyurethane; clear satin 1
wire staples, 3/8" 10
brush, 3" 1
sandpaper, 3"x21", 80 & 120 Grit.
