The Whistler Backcountry is seemingly endless in winter. When you're on top of a peak the mountains carry on as far as the eye can see yet for some reason we see the same jumps year after year in the new snowboard movies. The limitations of where we can get to might be one reason but there's also the fact that it takes a lot of things to line up for a proper jump to work. Mikey Ciccarelli - fellow @BurtonSnowboards team rider - and I try to build on a new backcountry jump and do our best to solve the problems as they arise. Here's a run down of how we dealt with the issues and the process to solving them and making the jump ALMOST work.

Thank you all for watching and supporting! This video took a lot of work but I'm slowly getting the hang of editing.
