In this episode I refurbish a relatively uncommon variant of the Polaroid SX-70 - the white 'alpha' camera. Please note that this is the last video I have made using my old lighting setup. Videos produced from this point forwards will all feature my new 1600 lumen lightbar providing downward direct illumination to reduce shadows.
Technically not a TRUE Alpha, the white model 2 with strap lugs was made in limited quantities for sale exclusively at Sears department stores.
They generally feature a unique PCB variant which I will discuss in this video. Designed to accept a variety of Flash Fire Assemblies, the PCB featured in this video seems to have trouble synchronizing with early generation Mint flashbars.

Getting artifacts in the video? For best quality, manually select 1080p quality, as depending on your bandwidth, KZitem may default to 720p - and KZitem's 720p compression looks like garbage
