Seriously, you need to be better balanced in your critique.bring out the evidences step by step based on historical and recent facts instead of an emotionally derived method of analysis.some missionaries risked everything and gained little when compared to our very own clergy of current times.Ingratitude is a disturbing attitude.name the wrongs and wrong doers. We still have the monuments of the right doers and their good deeds. We are governed by our own but until now we bleed the scars of the past so that we can never heal and progress. It is pathetic.you are not helping anyone with this blood letting.

Much needed education; thanks, Tim. Yes, colonization and the early missionary movement has damaged us in significant ways, and it is past time we liberated ourselves from all those shackles and fashioned a path that recognizes our true identity/culture and serves our interests. How we do that, without creating our own extremist and false narratives that end up crippling us further, is our challenge. Can we do it? Yes, especially if we approach the task dispassionately and with focus.

Wow. This is such a honest assessment of the state of Ghana and most of Africa today. Unfortunately the school systems are not set out to educate these things out of our people. Ghanaians and most Africans biggest challenge is that when someone like yourself or I come and point out these things, they are quick to say you’re “too know” or is the devil talking. And yet when you look at how Ghana gained independence, it was the big 6 who returned from the diaspora after witnessing other societies and realising our people were not treated properly that led to our independence.

I have been waiting for this video for some time, so glad you put it out.The legacy of Colonization is still affecting us across the Continent. In my own Country,We went from being wealthy Empire in 14th Century that controlled it's own Gold trade,to later resisting Portuguese Conquest in 16th Century, resisting the slave trade in 17th century, then eventually Colonized by the British in late 19th Century.Missionaries played a big part in pacifying what was once a mighty African people with strong Kings and Queens. Thankfully the African youth of today are beginning to rediscover our true identity rejecting the white Jesus complex and embracing our true spiritual identity. Biblical figures lived at a time and place where people were either brown or black, not white. Even modern scientists are now admitting that original people were black, whites are the most recent of people, barely 10 thousand years. So step by step we are gradually breaking the chains of Colonization. Thanks brother for a very well presented video. Lets keep on educating each other.

I was with a group of 15 Americans who visited Ghana for two weeks in December, 2019. Even the christians in the group were shocked at the images of the white Jesus which were everywhere. In America, most progressive Black churches don’t display a white Jesus or have a black Jesus on display. First, the virgin birth, resurrection, life after death, a holy son and the trinity were first developed in Africa, Kemet, over 2700 years prior to the advent of Christianity. The only people in the world who worship and “believe” in a God that does not look them are a conqueror people. It is unnatural!!! Our ancestors stated in the first holy scriptures, The Pyramid Text, “ignorance is an evil. The ignorance of black people is a result of miseducation by their enslavers/oppressors. If black people knew their history, they would laugh at the lie of the first two humans being white named Adam and Eve. It is utterly and totally impossible for the first two humans to be white. The oldest African found thus far is approximately 250,000-300,000 years old. The oldest human classified as white is only approximately 50,000. Adam and Eve is a big fat lie! Therefore, how can anything else in the book be true???? “Ignorance is an evil!”

Rather than the Baptist religion, my family and I practice Ubuntu Ma'at as a way of life. We no longer celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Kwanzaa without Christmas at all. I do feel stronger as a husband and a father. I am typically found in African attire. I very seldom adorn European clothing. It’s cool to see another black “missionary.” I put it in quotes because I grew to hate the term, for many of the reasons you go into here. I lived in Malawi for 3 years though, where the national language is Chichewa-whose word for God is Mulungu…and word for white man is Mzungu. Audibly there’s little distinction. I was in denial when I first heard the similarity...until I saw the reality. I had lunch with one missionary after I had gotten fed up and basically said: you know that, even in America’s the Deep South, there’s no way you could still have the kinds of segregation common here. He just kind of looked ashamed and said: it’s gotten better, because at least they don’t cross the street anymore when we walk by. [meaning they no longer get out of the way in deference] I don’t remember if I asked him how long it’s been since that stopped, but it might as well have been yesterday. It still hangs in the air. The pretense common to a lot of mission work is honestly disgusting. You’ve got American "servants of Christ" in Africa-with teams of underpaid black servants...supporting lifestyles they could never afford back in the States. It’s literally disgusting.

I appreciate your research and I agree with parts of it and the general idea. But you left out a very important part. The role of Portugal and the TransAtlantic slave trade. You have no greater evidence than the slave castle at Elmina, build by the Portuguese slave dungeon in the basement and church worshipping the false christ on top. The slave trade was started with a edict from the Catholic Church to the King of Portugal. Yes the African mind has been conditioned and must be unconditioned Many of the tribes in Ghana have Hebrew roots. The Ewe, the Ga, Akan, Fanti and the Ashanti. Many times black hebrews fled into west Africa to escape persecution. The largest came in 70AD and the 1400s. Yes the missionaries have done great damage. But the Bantu, the Lemba, the Igbo were worshipping the one true God before there ever was a Europe or missionaries. Not throwing shade, but just adding to the narrative. Shalom.

Thank you for this video brother, this is what I have been saying in the last 5 years especially as someone who is somewhat assimilated within british culture. I am very aware I am an African in Britain and that bodes well with alot of my family members and friends from all nations. White is not always right and even some white folks will tell you the same; especially the younger generation these days and lets not forget what went worldwide during the start of covid and many of those protestors were white also. I never understood the dreadlocks thing unless some feel superior from the centuries of locks, neanderthal locks and sumerian locks whereby they were welcomed into Egypt and Africa and were offered fine flax linen and afro-combs/wigs made from the finest horse hair. You are correct white wigs for studied lawyers even the hijab gets a pass but natural hair that grows from ones own head does not. Questionable! Especially when people from other nations also wear dreadlocks within their spiritual practices/way of life. It doesn't stand to reason. I am a proud African who is being pulled out of society at the moment for being too African and too british yet not African enough and not british enough, go figure. All I can say it, African and African Moors civilised the world twice and if dreadlocks and knowing of ones history did that AND had people working together and not an elite class of people who catered just for themselves; but whole communities that prospered then recognising and appreciating ones Africaness/Africanisms (no matter where they reside) is a healthy thing. Just look at how Afrobeats has many people globally enjoying the colours, dances, music etc Keep on keeping on, this was an informative video that I myself enjoyed watching. Peace

Hi Tim , Africa already has by far the youngest population of any continent in the world . The future you talk about is already here , perhaps you need to read more about global demographics ! A very good video ! Keep up the good work !
