I don’t know why either cuz doctors are working insane hours and engineering pays got so much better in my country that you can earn the same money with much less work anyways. Do listen to those that love you because some good advise can come from them and they may see things in you that you don't see yet. But ultimately it is up to you! I really hope you get it, just be aware of that some people are so poisonous that a line like that will be a trap gift that will harm you. Hopefully your parents are nothing like that at all, but even then be careful of how and why other people give praise. Many give them because they are just simply happy, some give them as a trap to ensnare you with and emotionally blackmail you.

@@asiancommenter5974 I'm a mom of a VERY spoiled child. But, i KNOW with some encouragement and lots of LOVE he WILL do good things for this world. I see the pain in your heart in the video and I wanted you to know that no matter if your parents say they are proud of you or not, THEY ARE!! Sometimes society and culture push people to be something they aren't It's not fair for their loved ones, but it is still reality. Imagine if EVERYONE in history became a lawyer or Doctor! Scary huh? Life would be SO boring and EVERYONE would be in the hospital and having several lawsuits pending! Lol Just be who and what you WANT to be in life! It's what makes you happy that matters! Don't harm anyone or yourself. Be nice to others and try to help humanity at every chance you get. If your parents see you happy, they WILL be proud of you! Whether they can say it or not, I PROMISE you they WILL be happy for you AND PROUD OF YOU!
